Ameristar Casino Hotel East Chicago

I recently visited this casino in Indiana. I am not much of a gambler but like to play the slot when on vacation. I didn't win much but the I was pleased with the resort. The parking was very close and I did not have to walk much to get to the game rooms.

It is a nice spot to get away from the day to day hustle and bustle.

Located in a very industrial and depressed area, it is easy to spot this bright and lively casino off of the highway. The parking is free. I liked the layout of the casino with a mini food court near the entrance and a multi-level casino in the rear.

Like most casino's it is very smoky. But there was plenty of room to move around and a great variety of slot machines to choose from.
