One of the best doctors appointments I've ever had. Quick, efficient, friendly, inexpensive. Can't recommend highly enough.

Definitely very convenient, it costs me the same amount of money to go there as it does my primary ($20), and my insurance pays the rest. Very convenient, I'd rather go there than my primary for most things because they are open 365 days a year for 16 hours a day with no appointment necessary. Some days are better to go than others however; some of the doctors are not as friendly and compassionate as others. Dr. Dawlatly is very sweet and compassionate and really seems to care about your health, she doesn??t just rush through a visit just to get to the next patient, she takes the time to properly diagnose, treat, and answer any questions and explain everything about your illness or injury and prescriptions. Dr. Cosby, Dr. Greenspan, and Dr. Khan on the other hand, are IMO not desirable doctors to see. They rush through the visit, are only in the room for less than five minutes, and don't prescribe effective medications. Also when you have a serious, painful illness or injury they don't seem to care one bit about the pain you are in and your suffering, they don't prescribe any sort of pain medication or cough syrup that helps or they typically prescribe nothing at all and instruct you to take OTC medications that do nothing at all for pain or cough. I had very severe pneumonia and Dr. Khan first paid no attention to my drug allergies and prescribed an antibiotic I was allergic to, then he told me to take Mucinex for the severe cough, and then for a follow up Dr. Greenspan did the same thing, he corrected the antibiotic and again gave nothing for the cough and I ended up having to pay for a third visit to my primary to get something stronger for the cough. Another time I went in for a very sprained, swollen ankle and Dr. Cosby told me to take Ibuprofen as if I hadn??t already been, and neglected to give me anything for the pain even after he commented how bad the injury was. It's sad when these physicians are more concerned these days with their reputations and keeping their narcotic prescribing habits so low and making money and rushing patients at an uncomfortable level that it very negatively impacts patients and forces them to suffer and leave the office with every question unanswered when it's a doctor's responsibility to ensure their patients are properly treated and not suffering and well informed.

Over the last few years, I've found that it's so much easier to use the Immediate Care Center in Nora for non-emergency medical care (such as school physicals, sore throats, sprains, etc) than it is to try and schedule a doctors appointment at my PPO physician. The hours are great, they're open until 11pm EVERY DAY, 365 days a year, no appointment necessary. I have never had to wait more than 45 minutes to see a doctor there. They have many services available, from xrays to immunizations, and even can fill your prescriptions for common meds. The greatest thing is that they don't charge crazy emergency room prices, actually they're priced about the same as any regular office visit, even if you go in on Sunday or late at night. They do accept insurance, but not all plans will cover visits there. I really think they offer a great service and decent prices.

I have visited Immediate Care Center last month. The service provided by the doctors at the emergency ward is acceptable only. They spent lot of time in filling out the forms rather than attending to the patient immediately. Once the forms were filled, we were not still attended to. The wound wasn't cleaned properly before putting bandage on it. On the whole the service provided by them was acceptable. They charged me only the coupe.

Myself and my friend went to Immediate Care Center (nora branch) last month. His eyes got hurt and we went around 10pm. At that time there was no eye surgeon and only general doctor was available. But he checked his eyes and did all the procedures. He gave medicines and my friends eye got cured within 2 to 3 days. Eventhough we did not make an appointment, we need not to pay emergency fee ($100). They charge us only the coupe. We were very much satisfied with Immediate care center.

Message from The Immediate Care Center

We recognized the need for accessible, economical medical care, particularly for those patients with minor accidents and illnesses not necessarily requiring the extensive services of a hospital's emergency department. The Greenwood Immediate Care Center opened in July of 1981 and the public responded with enthusiasm.

Since that time, additional centers have opened allowing us the privilege of serving almost 150,000 patients per year in the urgent care setting.

We want you to know that Our Mission is to strive for Service Excellence in all we do. This means performing our jobs to the best of our ability with passion, integrity, thoughtfulness and concern for you. We make every effort to exceed expectations in all that we do.

* All of our centers are always staffed by physicians.

* We are open 365 Days a Year.

* No Appointment is needed.
