Lemster's Floral & Gifts

I have ordered everything from Birthday to Funeral flowers and they always make sure that the arrangement is the freshest and nicest.

I had heard great things about Lemster's so I went in for a consultation for my wedding flowers. My appointment was cancelled twice and when I finally was able to come in to look at the books I was left to just look at mostly industry books with just one tiny book of flowers from a wedding they had done - an employee's wedding. I thought that it was weird and biased that the only pictures they had of their own work was from an employees wedding. Once I was done I met with Ethel and she was not very personable at all. She seemed rushed and not very willing to help me make decisions. After leaving I felt like I really didn't get the attention or respect I desired. I am having a small wedding so I don't know if they didn't see much of a profit potential from me? Either way, I ended up going to Hidden Garden and fell in love with them right away. They have at least five albums of events that they have done instead of mostly industry catalogs like Lemster's. I strongly recommend Hidden Garden for weddings and large events instead of Lemster's.

I have recieved flowers from Lemsters on several occasions....they are, without fail, beautiful flowers...fresh,long lasting, and a joy to recieve!

This mother's day (2007) I was looking for a florist in Valparaiso, Indiana. By reading the wonderful reviews on this site, I ordered a modest bouquet of flowers to be delivered to a dear friend of mine in Valparaiso, Indiana. Since I live in Long Beach, California, I was a bit concerned. However once the flowers were delivered, I heard from my friend. Besides being presently surprised, she praised the beauty and the quality of the flowers. The employees at Lemsters Flowers were very friendly and helpful. I will highly recommend this place.

I stopped by Lemsters flowers on a Saturday afternoon to purchase some flowers for a friend that I was meeting for dinner. I wanted to get something really nice, but didn't want to spend alot of money on them. I felt Lemsters had a nice variety of flowers in different shapes, sizes, and price ranges. I felt their prices were very comperable with others in the area. I chose some pink and white roses. They put them together in a bouquet with a bow. The entire thing was under $13. I was very pleased. The two ladies in the shop were also very nice and helpful.

PROS: wide variety and good price
CONS: None

My family has used Lemster's since I was born. Now that I have moved away, I realize what a wonderful shop they really have. The prices are extremely reasonable and the arrangements are gorgeous. The staff is super courteous. They have probably been in business over 30 years and I can see why. I've found some great shops in Indianapolis but when I compare the arrangements for the money to Lemster's. Lemster's wins hands down.

I really do like to use lemsters. I can even call over the phone and ask them to deliver a pretty $20 arangment and they do it right and bill me in the mail. I just love that.
ANd the arangments are very nice.
