We did a day time "pub crawl" of our own making while in Indy for the weekend. Ended up at the Slippery Noodle. It was my second visit and I was not disappointed. The staff (especially Steve, the bartendar) was friendly and the other patrons were alot of fun. We didn't eat there this time, though the sandwiches we had on our first visit (3 years ago) were really good. Can't wait to go back and listen to some live blues!!

Slippery Noodle is a great historic bar. Nice place to catch some good music and drink specials on Thursday nights. Plenty of space and rooms to hang out in. Staff is pretty attendant too. $5 dollar cover on some nights but it's worth it if you like blues.

Fun place to go before an event at Lucas Oil Stadium. Cold beer and a lot of great appetizers. Old historic bar with outdoor seating too.

Slippery Noodle Inn is a great place to catch live music. If you don't like what's being played, go into one of the other rooms, and listen to something different. There's several different room,s with different music in each one, and no interference from room to room. The food is pretty good too.

This is absolutely the best blues bar in Indianapolis. It's also the oldest bar in Indianapolis and the structure of the building definitely has that old saloon style. However the decor is strictly blues brothers. They have fantastic live blues and patio furniture when it's warm. In the summer there's always a line-up of bikes out front and the atmosphere is just that great jazzy vibe. The food here is also excellent and they have a good tap selection.

This is a great little place to visit if you're into the paranormal...it's where they cater to REAL spirits!

You can even call management & ask for a personal tour, or, they may even allow you to make arrangements to perform your own

This place has it all. It has the Blues and every other kind of band just depending in what room you are in. It is a great place to hang before a colts game. But the Food is great!! Try the nachos

SNI is def. a great spot for Live Music (although it gets very smoky)! Usually there is a $5 cover for nights when there is music; but if you were dining in before they start charging at the door, you can get around that! Definitely the place to go on Thursdays, half price drinks! Not a great place to eat dinner with a large group; we once went with about 15 others, and they did not separate the check at all (they said we would have had to tell them far in advance). This can be very difficult for people who don't regularly carry cash, but there was an on-site ATM!

This is one of those must-visit staples in Indy, but there is a reason for that. There are three rooms in this club, one straight-ahead bar and two rooms for live music of different sizes. There's also a dining area as well. Check out the open-mike night, is one of the best of its kind that I have ever seen.

This place is a must if you like live music and a laid back atmosphere. My boyfriend and I went to Indy for the weekend and everyone recommended this place. It was pretty crowded but no one was rude and the staff was friendly as well. Would definately go back if I ever found myself in Indy again!

The environment is always happening, the people are fun and friendly, the staff is great, and the bar itself has so much character! I drive 150 miles oneway to go every few weeks!

Founded in 1850 as the Tremont House, and once a stop on the Underground Railroad, the Noodle is now the place for touring and local blues musicians to play in Indy. The club also draws big names like Billy Joel for…
