Well, I started here with my search for a new Prius, but was quickly turned off when presented with an "unbiased" review/comparison of the Prius to many other cars in it's class. Since I had done my research, I was fairly familiar with the car's stats. Looking through this publication I couldn't help but laugh that it seemed to leave out the comparisons in which it fell short. The sales guy was pleasant enough, though I would have expected him to know a little more about what he was trying to sell me. I don't expect the guy at Walmart to be able to spat off information on every item on the shelf, but when you are only dealing with a hand full, you shouldn't need to look up...or make up the answer to basic questions. Long story short, I bought elsewhere. I still deal with Obrien on a near monthly basis with service. I have a long commute, and they are right across the street from the office. About half the time they are very attentive and greet you on arrival. The other half I pull in, mill about for several minutes with out so much as a "we'll be right with you." An oil change tops out at about $45 for my little car with regular 10W30 despite the price on their board of $35. I don't know what kind of "shop supplies" they use, but I don't think paper funnels are all that expensive. For that price I could take it to Jiffy Lube and get fluids topped off, windshields washed, and a vacuum, but it is nice letting them work while I do. Tire rotation adds about 20 bucks, and don't even get me started on the "interval mileage service." I can read my own manual well enough to see that the several hundred dollar services are a sham. Bottom line, I wouldn't buy a car here, and it is only for the extreme convenience that I continue to have my car serviced here...and by service I mean oil change, anything more and I'd go elsewhere.

We just purchased our second vehicle from O'Brien Toyota. The entire experience was pleasant. There was never any pressure, discussion of pricing and how it could be adjusted felt open and honest, they were quick to locate and secure the exact vehicle we were searching for, and they were always very curteous and respectful. I have done a great deal of car shopping, and these characteristics are certainly not found in the majority of dealerships. I'm pleased again with my choice.

This is a great place to buy a toyota. I've bought a car here in 2000 and have taken it there to be serviced. The staff is knowledgeable and honest. Their service area is usually on time.
