I made an appointment with Dr. Flanagan in June on 2007. I had 2 back jaw teeth that had cracked down to the gums. I knew this would require oral surgery and I was terrified. I finally go up enough courage to consider going to the dentist and found Dr. Flanagan's office. I called and made the appointment. I was nervous and anxious up on my visit. X-rays were taken and a consultation was performed. She suggested I get the laughing gas because I was so nervous and I was fearful of being put to sleep. Needless to say Dr. Flanagan did not have to cut my gums instead used a device called an elevator and both teeth were removed in seconds. I had minimum pain and swelling and only needed to take 1 pain pill. For someone who hates dentist and are fearful on needless and pain Dr. Flanagan is the one for you. She comes with my highest respect.

I am 25 years old and found out earlier this year that I would have to have my wisdom teeth pulled. I was not looking forward to it because I have heard horror stories from other people. The oral surgeon my dentist referred me to was not covered by my insurance so I had to find someone on my own. Dr Flanagan was close to me and on the list so I made an appointment with her office. I went in for the initial consulation and it went very smoothly. She advised to go ahead and have all four taken out so that it will save me trouble down the road. She didn't talk down to me and talked to me like an equal which I can appreciate. A few days later I had the procedure done. I was very scared but I did choose to be sedated so the last thing remember was them turning on the drip into my IV. I woke up feeling no pain. I was put into a wheel chair and wheeled out while my ride took care of the paperwork. I was given Vicodin and 800 mg Ibruprofen but only had to take a dose or two. By that afternoon I was able to eat chicken and dumplings with ease. I did not have any problems except for some swelling and numbness in my lip area. I called Dr Flanagan's office and they said it was normal but if it continued to come back in and see her. I didn't have to and they gave me a note to take to work.
I would recommend Dr. Flanagan to anyone.
