My girlfriend is from out of town and moved here for college. Since she did not have a local personal doctor we decided to go there when she recently became ill. We didn't want to spend $300 on an ER visit and we both get paid on strange schedules and weren't sure how much they would charge for someone without insurance. We were probably in the waiting room for about 20-30 minutes including the time it took to fill out the paper work. The doctor was an older gentleman who spoke a little too quickly but he was very nice and he sounded like he knew what he was talking about. He explained things very well if you can keep up with his speech pace. They required a $60 payment before being seen but if you are in need of emergency care and cannot afford to pay they had a sign on the wall saying it was the law and everyone has the right to be treated. They also will set up a payment plan for the remainder of your bill after the initial $60 payment. The doctor also prescribed an antibiotic that was on Schnucks "free" medicine plan and told us to get it filled there... It was indeed free. There were a few other antibiotics on the list of "free" medicines. For anyone without insurance or if you are on a budget and need to be seen by a doctor I wold highly recommend this location.
