After doing my research, I test drove lots of small SUV's, but the CRV completely won me over. The sales people were generous with their time and respectful of mine. I can't say enough about how nice EVERYONE has been. I've had my car in for two oil changes so far and have been blown away by the professionalism of everyone I've met and their willingness to go above and beyond expectations. This is truly an exceptional, service and customer oriented dealer!

I was nervous about purchasing a different vehicle, I had driven my previous one for over 10 years. My sister bought her Honda Odyssey years ago from Don Ayres so she referred me here. I had spent the morning online, shopping, comparing, pricing, to make the decision. I went to the dealership with 3 of my 4 youngest children in tow. I was immediately greeted and introduced to my sales person Lori Nicola. She was great! A perfect match for us on our van shopping adventure. She was very knowledgeable, professional, and most importantly patient! All of the sales people, Sales Managers, and Finance, were friendly, professional, and again most importantly patient! I found everything I needed and wanted at Don Ayers, I am glad my sister recommended it, I will recommend it to anyone as well! We had such a great experience and I am thrilled with my purchase

We came in looking for a new car but found a certified used car with more options and at a lower price. The sales staff were all friendly, knowledgable, and not too pushy. Some dealerships were very much in-your-face, but the Don Ayres group gave us plenty of room to browse at our leisure when asked. I would definitely recommend visiting them if you are in the market for a new or used car.

Absolutely the best car purchase experience ever. These gentlemen could have written the customer service manual. Professional, knowledgeable, organized, and relaxed.
With so much info available on line, many of the buyers of today know what car they will probably purchase. Chris D. found the exact car I was looking for in about 2 minutes. The process was painless and quick. Thanks to Chris and the GM in the used car area.

This was the best experience I have ever had purchasing a vehicle. We had totaled our Honda Fit, and were renting a car in Indianapolis (which was due back the day that I contacted Don Ayres). I was hoping they could transfer the car in the next few days to Indy, but they did us one better - they had the Honda Element we purchased delivered to my front door. That very same day.

Anwar at Don Ayres Honda was a pleasure to work with. Since I work at a hospital, I cannot take calls during the day. Anwar allowed me to go through the entire car buying and financing process using email and text messages, which was super convenient for me.

I cannot be happier with our purchase, or the process. Best customer service ever!

Every person at Don Ayers Honda was fantastic and a great help in the purchasing process. I was able to get exactly what I wanted with friendly people, and the best sales associate, Bill F. I purchased a Honda Odyssey from Anwar and his colleague with me, my wife and two small children. We went to the dealership with the understanding that we would be leaving with a new mini van. The staff was friendly and mostly accommodating. It was a cold day so the sales man pulled the vehicle in the garage so we could take a good look at it without having to freeze. We enjoyed the overall experience and felt that the vehicle was priced well. Also we traded in our '08 XC90. As usual, trade in values at any dealership are a bit lower but they were willing to negotiate and compromised financially and threw in some all weather mats. They were pretty good to work with and it was not a high pressure environment. The closing process was very quick and efficient. We worked with Jamie who was a pro and was also accommodating to our kids as they were running around her office. She was extremely friendly and didn't try to push irrelevant up sale products. In all, we came home with exactly what we wanted at the price we wanted to pay. We drove 1.5 hrs to this dealership as we found the car on line and certainly we were happy we did. I would recommend Anwar and the dealer.

Just purchased a 2012 CR-V from Don Ayres. This is my 6th Honda in 32 years and all have been DA purchases. Also have ALL of my service work done there right down to the windshield wiper blades and batteries. Great customer service, competitive pricing and the desire to use genuineHonda parts keep me returning. My new CR-V is loaded with technology and my salesman, Shannon Hoover, was very helpful in sorting it out for me. Rick Squires, the sales manager, and Jeremy Todd, the finance manager, were also very helpful in processing my purchase. I highly recommend both Honda vehicles and Don Ayres dealership.

I highly recommend my sales guy Joe Parra! He took the time to show me all features and how they work. He listen to me therefore showing me suvs in price range and what I was looking for as far as features. I was able to get a better interest rate vs other companys. Joe has also followed through in making sure I am still happy with my purchase and if I have any questions on use or features to give him a call. I highly recommend. I even had my consumer reports book and he helped me take the time to look up suv reports. I am very excited and love my new purchase!

Service of car was great and the staff is very friendly. My car was ready quickly and I was called to come pick it up. Only complaint is that I had asked for a carwash, but when I picked up my car it was still very dirty and had not been washed.

I have had to best experience ever working with Don Ayres Honda on Lima Rd. in Fort Wayne, IN. My sales/leasing agent is Andy Hitzemann. Andy has been the nicest, most easy going, laid back, guy to work with!! I purchased my first new car, a 2011 Honda Civic DX-VP in December 2010. After nine months of ownership, Andy informed me that I could upgrade to a 2012 because of the value in my DX-VP. Andy was so right!! I just leased a 2012 Civic LX and I absolutely love it! Rick Squires also played a major part in my new lease, he's the best! He worked really hard to get me the best deal ever! Jamie in Financing is fantastic and very sweet too. My mechanic informed me it was time to trade for a better, newer vehicle. This is not something I had done since my husband passed away last fall, so I was concerned about being treated in a fair manner, having heard horror stories about how women car shoppers might be treated.
After visiting several other dealers in Fort Wayne I happened to drive by and turn in to Don Ayres Honda while on my way to a different dealership. I am so happy that I did! Aaron immediately approached me, and was very helpful and honest in helping me pick out my 2009 Honda CR-V. He did not waste my time or try to manipulate me, which several other dealers had during previous car shopping trips.
I enjoyed working with him so much that I inquired about another, older, used SUV for my son. There were several on the lot, and Aaron was able to help me narrow down the choices with helpful, and accurate information about each. Later that week we arranged to take my son's choice to our mechanic, and Aaron took time out of a busy Saturday to do this for us. The vehicle checked out, so Aaron made 2 sales with us, my used (dealer certified) CR-V, and my son's used (as is) Chevy Tracker. Prior to our purchases, we had done research for both vehicles at Edmunds, Consumer Reports, and KBB, and knew they were priced accurately.
Working, going to college and doing major remodeling on my home makes my time very short and valuable; Aaron did not waste a minute of it! The rest of the staff was also very friendly, yet helpful and efficient as we concluded the 2 sales. I have and will continue to recommend Don Ayres Honda, and their excellent employee, Aaron Warner, to anyone who asks.

This week I had a new storage armrest installed in my 2010 Honda Fit. First, I was impressed at how clean their garage area is kept. Then only seconds after getting in line behind another customer, a clerk came over to assist me. I was directed to the lounge where at precisely 7:30 a gentleman came in and asked for those needing a shuttle ride. He took me and 2 others and dropped us off at our places of business. I called at lunch and was told my car was just being finished, so a co-worker dropped me off to pick it up. I also had an oil change done and the armrest was installed properly. Later in the day, the shttle driver called me to make sure I had picked my car up. Everything about the service, and customer service impressed me. This is my first Honda vehicle and so far the car, and the dealer, have been "A1!"

I recently purchased a new Accord. They did not have the color I wanted in stock, so I emailed the new car sales manager Rick Squires directly (address was on website). He was prompt with reply and assured me that they would be able to get me what I wanted. He asked that I call him to work out details. I dread dealing with salespeople, but I was pleasantly surprised when I called him. After taking down some information, he went over again the kind of car I was looking for, to be certain we were on the same page. He then encouraged me to stop in to get my trade-in appraised.

Again, I was pleasantly surprsed. Rick and the new salesman Seth were both awesome. Never pushy, eager to answer any questions I might have, willing to work with me on prices (but I don't exactly "haggle"). It was the most relaxed, confident car buying experience I've ever had. Seth, even though he is new, is very knowledgeable and helpful. Turn-around time to track down and get the car I wanted was approximately 48 hours, but there was also a Sunday thrown in there.

Even the business manager, Cindy, who handled our financing and the paperwork was awesome. She explained everything to me in plain language and offered the optional add-ons (e.g. extended warranty) without trying to up-sale me.

I'm not sure which I love more: my new Honda Accord or Don Ayres Honda! I will never take my car--Honda or anything else--to any other dealership. Period.

I bought my used Civic here 3 years ago. Within the first 12 months, I had trouble with the security system. The car would start honking and not stop. I couldn't drive it. I had it towed three times to Honda and they did this, charged me for that, and still I had the problem recur. I was frustrated. I could tell they didn't know what they were doing yet were happy to charge me for each failed attempt. I finally called California (national) on the advice of friends. They apparently put the pressure on. In fact, one of the consultants when I called to ask what was up with the car (that was still in the shop), said in essence "I don't know. Now that you've called in national [hear snide tone], we can't go forward with repairs without their consent." But I tell you what, it got fixed and without charge. I don't think it would have otherwise. I think they would have sent me on may way home without the fix and I'd be towing it back again. After that, I took the car back for routine maintenance until one time when I drove out and the ABS light stayed on. I just drove it straight back to the garage as soon as I saw the light wasn't going out. The attendant tried to tell me it was because my purse was on the passenger side seat! He tried to get me to drive off with this explanation. And even though I don't know much about cars, I knew ABS stands for Anti-lock brakes and not Air Bag System as he tried to pass it off as. Horrendous! I wish there were another Honda dealer in town. For now, oil changes elsewhere have kept my car going.
