The Forum branch located on East Washington has the most unfriendly staff I have ever experienced. Today I came in after work and was not greeted at all.The blonde guy that helped me is usually friendly, but not today for some reason. I asked for $20 in quarters, and he must've not liked the idea of having to "look" for coin rolls because he slammed my money down on the counter and walked away without saying "thank you" or "have a nice day" or at least "thanks for banking with Forum". Very unprofessional and rude.

i was tempted to go with a larger chain bank, but decided on forum credit union because even though it is small, the service is great. the only caution is regarding the debit card: it's not visa or mastercard, it's star.

I have been a member of Forum for almost ten years and always been very pleased with the service I have received. The rates are low (free checking, etc.) and competitive. The only gripe I have is the limited number of bank machines.

PROS: Friendly, competitive
CONS: few bank machines

Forum has opened up it's membership to include just about every one who qualifies for a checking account.

you do have to also open a savings account and keep a minumum of $5 in it.

They have credit/debit cards that work everywhere.

I was able to get duplicate copies of my banking statement for no charge and they even made copies of some other documents for me at no charge.

They have updated the look of all of their branches and have a young staff who are both friendly and knowledgable.

They even have a coffee bar in the lobby where you can make your own flavored coffee for no charge.

We were shopping for a new credit union/bank a while back and were new to the area. We stopped in Forum as it was close to home. The person we dealt with was very snotty and said we are a "members only" credit union. She said it very condesending and rudely.

We left and when my company started offering Forum memberships we definitely passed.

Thanks for your non-Hoosier hospitality to the new professionals in the area.

PROS: Location
CONS: Snotty, rude personnel
