My first car buying experience was anything but pleasant. It was late Saturday and I still hadnt found anything I like and could afford and I absolutely HAD to have a car by Monday. I browsed through Lake Shores used car division and only saw one car I liked. The salesman named a price way more than the car was worth and absolutely refused to budge on it. After inspecting the car I noticed had garbage it in and the oil light was on. It turns out the salesman was using that car to commute 80 miles to work each day. I asked him to at least clean it up before I took it and all I got was the trash taken out of it. When I got home and checked further I saw no oil, no brake pads left, stains and animal hair all over. I took the car back Monday and asked them to fix these problems. Due to the sales agreement the car had a through inspection when it was brought in and was guaranteed to have specific points perfected, but since my car was being used every day it was far from perfect. Monday evening when I went back to get my car they had changed the oil, then said everything else was my responsibility. I was so upset I wrote a letter detailing my experience and was contacted by a wonderful customer service woman who is the only reason this place got two stars at all. She reimbursed me for the brake job I had done elsewhere and detailed the car, she was great. Everyone else but here there was awful and uncaring about the customer, they just want your money.

CONS: salesmen were horrible
