Though the company seems to provide average service regularly to its customers, they do not have a customer service attitude when it comes to problems or issues. Our furnace takes a non-standard filter. We were told by the service technician to ensure we tell the scheduler of this need so the technician will put on his truck. We did this when we scheduled a heating inspection this year. The technician showed up without the filter. He did, what he said, was the inspection and then stated he needed to ""run and get"" the filter. The house was vacant (rental) at the time and therefore me, and my 2 young children, were left standing in the yard for almost 2 hours awaiting his return with the filter. Then, I learned the next week that the pilot light on the furnace was not on and the gas was off. I called to ask the company how it was possible that they inspected the heat if there was no gas. I was told someone would call me back. After 2.5 weeks of no return call I called again because I needed a plumber. They scheduled the plumber and apologized for no return call about the furnace and said someone would call me back. Again, no one called me back. The plumber (who was great) came to the house and he mentioned the AC unit. I told him that I was awaiting a call. He made a call and someone called me back immediately and scheduled a time for the next week to inspect the furnace. Unfortunately we were in an accident and did not have a vehicle to driver the almost 2 hours to the house to meet the technician. When I called to change the appointment the staff was less than pleasant and stated that they would no longer honor a ""courtesy"" inspection because we were not due another inspection on our contract until after September and our contract is up in September. They stated it was our fault for cancelling and that they would allow one more inspection on this contract after September as a courtesy. They became very agitated and less than pleasant placing all the blame on us for rescheduling and not being available on their schedule. We will finish out our contract with this ""courtesy"" and then we will do them the ""courtesy"" of taking our business elsewhere. Beware of this company if you need anything beyond a normal install or service call. And be prepared for a run around.

When a Williams technician comes, they are here for at least 40 minutes. They take their time, inspect and clean everything. Well worth the money!

Travis was about as professional and customer oriented as one could ask for. It was very irritating however that when the lady called me at 10am to say Travis was on his way the day of service, she had no idea I was suppose to be scheduled from 12 to 3. I obviously could not be there before 12, so Travis had to go to a different appointment and couldn't make it to our rental property until after 4. Again, I would recommend Travis to anybody, but for my appointment to be scheduled the night before, it was pretty ridiculous my appointment block of time was either not written down anywhere or not communicated to anybody.

After calling Williams Comfort Air, Jay (Plumber) came out and gave us an honest quote and told us all the extra work was unecessary!!! So glad I made the call to Williams! We haven't had any problems since and I would recommend them to anyone considering a service call!

In fact, with the follow-up calls and tune-up experience, I have a feeling that choosing Williams was a wise decision. They really seem to care that the equipment is in tip-top shape and that their customers are satisfied in all respects. He had the bad unit replaced and the water heating heating in no time. He was very professional, friendly, and just pleasant to talk too. I am very happy with Mr. Plumber and their employees.

I had to have my heating tune-up today and Kenny was my technician. He very polite and friendly. Just as another post mentioned, he didn't try to give me the hard sell. I know when I'm being haggled and that is the number 1 thing that will make me not use a company and Kenny didn't do it. It makes me feel that he is trustworthy and I will call again and request his services for my AC tuneup in the spring.

Absolutely horrible and costly experience. Tech told us the part was so expensive we should just get a new furnace... then feverishly tried to book an appointment for us to get a quote for a new furnace. Very clearly on commission. Got a new furnace (blindly since we trusted Williams' diagnostic) and it turned out the coil needed to be cleaned. It had nothing to do with the furnace. I politely called a Williams supervisor to discuss, and supervisor never called me back. Then I had to leave a message with a receptionist who would take my complaint and call me back. Guess what? I had to call her back the next day to get a response from the supervisor, who had no response. Eventually the receptionist called me back saying they would clean it. The uppity tech who shows up said that it didn't need cleaned, even though it made a toothbrush black with lint. After his refusal (I guess it was too much work), he credited back almost $100 from the service call that ended up costing me thousands. In the end, I had to pay another company to clean it. There are several disgusting things about the experience. I'm not sure buying a new furnace that I didn't need was the worst... perhaps the worst was they never gave me the respect to even talk with anyone who outranked the phone receptionist.

I had a very similar experience to the other bad review above--- Got a very high estimate and high pressure tactics (from a repair guy!). Still had to pay their $95 service call fee, but got a second estimate from elsewhere that was WAY below Williams, so I still came out way ahead, and avoided a several unnecessary fees

The Williams technician came out and was very professional and curtious. He answered all of my questions promptly and with expert advise. My furnace/air Conditioner was purchased by the previous owner, but they kept the 15 year warrenty on the unit. The staff are all friendly and helpfull. We started using Williams back in 2009. Everyone from the gal in the office to the technician who shows up at the door make us feel like we are their top priority.\r
They are both prompt and efficient when it comes to providing us with service. My husband and I didn't hesitate to re-new our yearly maintenance agreement. I worked in Customer Service for 30 years and so far all of their employees have given us the service I would expect. I will recommend them in a heartbeat to our family and friends.

We totally got scammed into buying a new system and then were given "special financing" that ironically no longer existed once our system was installed. Of course, once we look at what we have our documentation doesn't state anything about financing and I am sure it did but we didn't get a copy. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE!

just bought a five year home and found leak in basement. Unsure if water was coming from shower above or foundation. Technician arrived on time and did a very thorough inspection and explained possible source, which didn't involve plumbing. He was here over an hour and recommended possible solutions to foundation issue. We paid $79 service fee but came away with good solution without being oversold on any additional services.

Williams came out to look at my 6 year old air conditioner. They said it had a bad capacitor and a bad fan motor. Cost to fix $988. I declined and called APPEL in Carmel. They came out, replaced the capacitor and there was zero problem with the fan motor. Cost of fix $200.
Now Williams will not give me my $94 back. They claim it is not their fault that they were wrong and I should have let them fix it.
Do not call them. They will lie to get more money from you.

Technician was pushy and tried to get me to agree to $1400 in repairs (on a 5 year old system) plus some random inspection fees, on top of the service call fee. I said no, I'll sleep on it. Are the technicians on commission? He also kept throwing the warranty term around like it would somehow scare me... If you dont replace part A, I wont warranty part B. And I have to replace both even though one is good or nothing is warrantied... Sorry, I didnt fall for it

Williams tech was friendly and 'seemed' to be knowledgeable, but recommended $2300 repair for a $50 fix (got a 2nd opinion and THAT tech knew what he was doing).

Don't hire this company! William's installed a geothermal system that wasn't sufficient to heat my home. I hired an independent energy audit company that spelled out to them that the system was 3 ton's too small. They have no guarantee and flat out refuse to remove the system and return my money. My guess is they have never actually removed a unit when they screwed up! They just wait for you too sue them and then drag it through the court system while you freeze in the winter.

I have a friend in the business and I told him the prices and he gave me the actual cost of a new unit and it was 65% over the actual cost. He then explained that the service techs get a spiff (comission)for turning you over to the sales team. They don't make comission for repairing your equipment.
