This shop in Danville is a surprising find in the Midwest. Literally mountains of upholstery, drapery, and home dec fabrics fill the space. You can find modern, trendy fabrics as well as hard-to find colors and styles. Velvet, southwestern, tapestry, outdoor, sheers, casements, antique satins, commercial, and tweeds are just a few of the items found at Raders that elude the savvy shopper at most fabric stores. Of course they have a vast selection of chenille, cotton prints, embroidered silk-looks, and other industry standards. Their vinyl selection is unparalleled. (Yes, they have orange and laqua as well as tans, blacks and browns)

Upholsters, boat and car restorers will find all the supplies needed to do any project. Raders also has a business board where Indiana upholsterers and restorers can leave contact information.

Floppy, saggy sofa cushions? Bring in your old ones and Jerry will cut new foam and stuff it in your existing covers to boot!

Love Grandma's settee but the fabric is shot? The knowledgeable staff at Raders will help you select fabric and recommend an upholsterer if you need one.

Love olive and pink? Peach and blue? Cranberry and Puce? No worries! Jerry, Tina and Cheryl will help you find the perfect piece for your project.

I recommend bringing in some paint or fabric swatches to help you and the staff hone in on the perfect fabric for you. Trust me, you never knew there were so many shade of brown!!

With their HUGE stock of fabrics, Raders can match ANY color and pattern you need for drapery, curtains, upholstery or other home or business sewing need. They also carry foam and other upholstering supplies. Great prices too, much cheaper than other fabric stores.
