I love this clinic. I feel like I am running a zoo sometimes, and Dr. Loftus is our zoo keeper. She is great with all of our pets. She is honest and frank. She realizes that we cannot spend a fortune on our pets even though we love them dearly. She does not give us a guilt trip.

In my opinion, Dr. Loftus is exceptionally unprofessional and discriminating. After accompanying a client to pick up her dog, we were taken to a "TINY" exam room, required to pay the bill in full while in this tiny room even before seeing the dog, and then, when I inquired why they held the dog from my client due to lack of payment but yet allowed other clients to take their pets home and "make payments", Dr. Loftus exploded! In her elevated and unprofessional demeanor, she started carrying on about how much money she donates and what her account receivables are then she ordered myself and the client (who never spoke once) to NEVER return to her clinic and exited the room. Not once did I raise my voice to Dr. Loftus. At this visit, Dr. Loftus NEVER offered this paying client the opportunity to discuss her dog??s life threatening situation, what had been done, or how to prevent this situation from re-occurring. Approximately 10 minutes later, an unidentified clinic worker appeared, handed off the dog, and answered several questions I asked about the dog??s current situation. We exited the vet??s office without the opportunity to obtain a refill on the medications needed to sustain the dog??s life.

We've been using Dr. Loftus for past two years. We have been very impressed with her commitment to animals. I was in there one day and a cat had been brought in that lost a lot of blood. The cat was going to die and the owners were very upset. Loftus tested her personal cat and found that the blood type was an exact match. She actually did a blood transfusion from her cat to the injured cat. I later heard that the cat lived and fully recovered.

Dr. Loftus is so great with the animals and she has a great way with people too. We have been using Edwardsville animal clinic for years and i would never go anywhere else. I tell all my friends to go there. I have a great story about Dr. Loftus one of my friends lost her cat, she thought she was gone forever. Turns out Dr. Loftus found her, kept her, my friend stopped in one day to talk to her and low and behold there was her cat!! I thought it was a great ending.
