We made a reservation for 30 for a Friday night. We were very happy with the service, especially since there were so many in our party. The manager came over and introduced himself and was close by to make certain we were taken care of. Our main waitress did a fabulous job and was super frinedly. The food was delicious and a great valus for our dollar. I would definetly recommend O'Charley's on Shadeland.

Being vegetarian is not easy, especially when your entire family goes against you and decides to eat some place you know for a fact isn't vegetarian friendly.

I can usually find one or two things to throw together and eat when I'm out, but not here. I made an attempt to order a couple of sides, but was shot down by the waitress who told me " We don't do those seperate, they come in meals." I was disapointed, and glanced at the meat loaded pasta section...no dice there either. I then turned to my typical last resort, salad. I glanced at the salad section, and asked for a chicken something salad, with no chicken. The rude waitress scoffed at me, and grabbed the menu out of my hands. They brought the food for my entire family about 5 minutes before bringing out mine. I could tell the waitress thought I was being difficult. I glanced at my salad, all iceberg lettuce, shredded carrot and a dried up radish. I believe the salad was about $7 or so. (they decided to charge me full price even though I didn't want the chicken.) The salad was obviously a mix, like the kind you buy in bags from the store. It was apparent that it had sat out too long, and had dried out a bit. The staff tried to remedy this by pouring water in it, and mixing it around. The salad was wet and flavorless, not to mention expensive, and in a small portion. I pushed my bowl to the middle of the table, and sighed as the waitress came to ask how our food was.
I left no tip.

My family seemed to enjoy their steak, shrimp, and chicken, and everyone else in the resturant seemed overjoyed. For me, the food was poor quality, the service was bad, and the menu left A LOT to be desired. I'll never go back.
