I went to Lil' Sprouts from 1992-95. Our family was close to Dee, Ron, and Martha. We are stunned by these allegations and would like to beleive this didn't really happen. We are just blown away!!! We hear a lot about Ron and Miss D, but my concern is about Miss Martha?

I was a past employee at the center in 1994. Ron was present ALL THE TIME AND HAD DIRECT CONTACT WITH THE KIDS, and I am sure it continued even after his FIRST conviction, which was for a drunk driving conviction in 1999, which he was driving with children in the car.
His mother, (Dee), is obviously trying to cover up for her very, very sick son who needs professional help and to remain in jail!
I hope the state is able to close this center immediately! As a parent, there is no way in **** that I would allow my 9 year old son
to attend a daycare facility such as this and shame on the parents who continue to send their children there.

Ron Eiland owner of Lil Sprouts daycare is facing charges of Child Molestation. If you love your children even a little bit you will keep them away from this monster and his enabling mother

If you want a kid's perspective this place, I went to Lil Sprouts for 11 years. From age 3-13. I can't imagine not having grown up there. Miss Martha is amazing. She was always there. I always hated 4:00 because that was the time she went home. I learned my ABC's and my cursive from her. Mr. Ron was AWESOME! I became best friends with his daughter. I remember he would pick her and I up from class and take us to Cubs Foods to grocery shop for the daycare. The food was amazing. Mr. Ron is an amazing chef. Especially his macaroni and cheese! Miss Dee was so caring, and loving. She was my second grandma. I loved her. Mr. Chuck was AWESOME! I remember one time I played him in a game of air hockey, and I won! He bought me Burger King for lunch after calling my mom for permission! Mr. Tim, Mr. Shane, Miss Kirsten... I have so many memories. Mara, Elan, and Briana were my BFF's! I'm still friends with them to this day. I'm 17 years old now. We went on field trips every single Tuesday and Wednesday in the summer! Sahm Park, USA Skates, Conner Prairie, The Children's Museum, we went everywhere! Even to the Movie theater....AND we got TUBS of popcorn! Take your kids to Lil Sprouts, you'll never regret it. I know I'll be forever grateful my mom brought us here.

My daughter first started going to Lil Sprouts in 2000- age 5. She attended kindergarden there with Mis Martha as well as Daycare. The staff is friendly and really care about the kids. Over the years if there has been an employee not up to the task- they never last long! We moved a couple of years ago and my daughter did the 'schools' daycare, which was fine.
But last summer we went back to Lil'Sprouts and they were STILL great- remembered us by name and we knew alot of the staff from before. Now I use them on a drop in basis and would never think of taking her anywhere else! Ms Dee is everyones Parent, she is a caring person.
Food is good, facility is clean, activities are fun and Sercurity is in place.
We will keep going back as long as we can and I would and do recommend this facility to anyone!

My stepkids go this daycare. It is not one I choose for my children. The cost is a little expensive. They are a little dirty. My husbands kids love it there. I sometimes see too many kids to a teacher ratio. They do not really enforce rules. The kids seem to learn what they are supposed to (abc's, etc.) but they are not set up for special needs at all (one of our children has ADHD and they dont really handle it well.) They talk about parents and other teachers in front of the children. The teachers dont seem to pay a lot of attention to the children and sometimes the kids can get hurt and no one notices. Our 5 year old got a broken nose at 11:00 am and no one "noticed" until we picked him up at 6:00 and took him to the ER because his whole face was black and blue. You would think someone would call or notice something like that. Their christmas program every year I have seen it is a weird experience as the owner is a little eccentric. While the children are doing their songs, she literally LECTURES the parents on parenting skills and offers for everyone to stay late to see her dance videos of the "good old days" when she was a ballroom dancer. One good thing is they are very flexible with payment "situations" and have reduced our cost to match other less expensive places in the area. My husband and the kids mom seems to think this day care is ok, but I would not sent my kids there.
