I have a 2000 ford taurus and the rear springs broke so i took it to the ford dealership for a estimate. I was shocked at how much they were going to charge me so I didn't have the work performed. they still charged me for a diagnostic charge. A co-worker suggested I give Aloha a try so I called and the tech said there was no charge for a estimate so I took my car in and he was knowlegable and his estimate was a third of what the dealer was going to charge me. I agreed to do the work and got my car back the next day and there mechanic was very nice. I will take all my repairs to aloha from now on. The two people that helped me were great. One was the car salesman and the other was a young man who was the mechanic that did the work.

This shop was recommended to me. I brought my car for general check in and to have a look at the "check engine light on". The mechanic was kind and spent over half hour on my car. Honestly most of the time typing stuff in the computer. I would feel better if he was working more on the car itself. The only thing the guy found was a damaged cap from the engine liquid cover. I was informed that it could have blow my engine - "Yes, sure whatever, I've been driving this car nearly 3 years. I don't think so". With regards to the "check engine light on", well I was informed about some loose connection, that would place one of the detectors (I think oxygen one) off-reading. The car computer was reset, light was off for some time than appeared on again.
I also asked to change my battery. I bought new one in AutoZone. I would change it myself but it was around 0F. Well mechanic charged me for the battery change and the cap. I drove for the week than my car died. Come on! It is just eight years old. The Aloha guy didn't know how to place car battery correctly; one of the terminals was really loose. I am surprise that I was able to drive for a week and happy the car didn??t die in the middle of I-65. I don't want to think how well they perform other services. I called the manager to complain and I got really upset with conversation. There were no apologies. Manager tried to convince me that I am making up some story and trying to accuse him. I did not, because of these stupid lousy placed terminals I had to pay for my car towing. I had right to be disappointed and I could prove it with a bill. Finally, he hanged up on me. I do not trust in Aloha Auto car service and I am disappointed with the way they are treating their customers.

I'm relatively new to the area and drive an aging BMW (12+ years old). I had been taking my car to the dealership to have work done previously, including oil changes as the car requires a special filter, until a coworker turned me on to Aloha. The owner is SO nice - providing me with pricing before doing work, and the prices are extremely reasonable! They have taken my car in with no notice when I had a couple emergency repair situations, and had it fixed within the same day. I find them to be extremely trustworthy and I have never been so comfortable bringing my car anywhere for service.
I HIGHLY recommend Aloha.

I changed my muffler there and the owner was really nice. He's a chinese-vietem, and most workers there are asian too. They charged labor really cheap. So if you have a not very fancy car, and consider a cheap place to fix, aloha is your choice.

PROS: great price
CONS:
