We stayed at this campground late this summer. The campground was pretty but the ownership left a lot to be desired. We paid a month's rent and were told to park in the temporary lot until a full hookup space became available. The couple that moved in a few days after us were offered the first available full hookup spot without a word to us. The lady in the office refused to even talk to me about it and acted like I was unreasonable to even bring it up. So, after paying for a full month for full hookups at the end of four weeks I asked about refunding part of our money. The owner said "Its the same price for no hookups". I felt we were lied to and ripped off. Stay there, but don't believe a word out of that woman's mouth. Beware of when you park in the temporary parking, they kept putting people in the spot under the black walnut tree.

Stayed in May, rented the only cabin with it's own bathroom. Cabin was decent enough but the sink and toilet were clogged the entire stay! GROSS! But, we really had a good time. Loved the overall camp's atmosphere. Tons of families and kids. The kid's walked all over and seemed to be having so much fun. The swimming quarry was great and had lots of neat water toys. Beautiful down by the river. If you love the outdoors but are not tent people, the cabin is the way to go. Would love to come back over and over IF they get that plumbing system updated! Few suggestions for the cabin only: 1) fix the plumbing-if your going to pay the fee to have your own bathroom, at least the toilet should flush 2) replace twin bed with bunk bed for kids 3) get rid of the 500lb coffee table in front of the sofa bed so you don't pull your back out when you open the hide a bed!!!
Overall-GREAT family camping, would recommend to friends & hopefully will come back
