Disgusting! I will never eat here again. The prices seem terrific, however the food is bad.

Love, Love this restaurant. Have been going there since it opened. The best gyro plate in town and the rolls are excellent. The breakfast platters are wonderful too. Usually need a go box since servings are large. Have never had unfriendly

As per Vicki C, Nick Tsiampas is the owner/operator of this restaurant and he works very hard towards making your dining experience positive. The food is excellent, the menu offers many types of cuisine and the prices are reasonable. Don't let the negative responses posted keep you from trying this restaurant. On Friday nights dessert is free so that would be a good time to try it. I have to totally agree with everything she said.

Pros: Great Food, Large Servings, Good Prices

Cons: None that I have experienced

We love the Paragon Restaurant, especially for breakfast. No matter how busy it looks in the parking lot there always seems to be room inside. We enjoy the laid back atmosphere and always feel like friends. (We enjoy Nicks greeting - Hello friends.) The food is always hot, good and fast. The waitresses are friendly and feel like family. The cashier can be a little grumpy, but that just seems to be him. The prices are very reasonable and theres always more than enough to eat with each meal. Thanks Nick, for giving us a place close to home to have a nice meal.

If you are unhappy or a server is inadequate (we've had our share of newbies dumping drinks too) TALK TO NICK. The owner is there 95% of the time. Sometimes it's SO crowded that things get missed. Nick will smooth it all out.But the experienced servers are darling, the rolls are delicious and the wide selection is yummy. The perch and catfish are perfect. The fried chicken is great; order it when you sit down if you can make up your mind that soon, it takes a while. The fried pork chops are great. My friends swear by the chicken (or tuna) salad stuffed cantaloupe. The baklava is excellent. The secret to free dessert Friday is to get there before 5pm. The best desserts are there then!! I can rarely get off work that early so I don't mind letting ya'll in on that one. What else? Grumpy dessert man is really a teddy bear. The broccoli is always fresh. Breakfast is not a disappointment. And I've always been able to get my order the way I want it. Now I have had some clinkers: the baked pork chops were just horrible and some don't care for the chicken livers. I keep meaning to try the pasticcio, it looks really good but other favs get in the way. Now if you think you're going to get Fogo de Chao level service, you're delusional. It's a dive diner with a cult following. Expect some bumps and your ride will be more pleasant.

I have eaten at Paragon on several occasions. Never had a bad or unpleasant experience. The food my family and I have eaten has been great and always exactly what we ordered. Friday night you get free dessert, however, we don't usually get there on Fridays but it's nice when we do. Great Place, Great Food, Great Service.

I met a group of men to eat there one Saturday. The environment was your classic diner and the service was good. The food was average, but I was there for the company. I'll go back again.

Like Mike G. our table had a tray of drinks spilled on one of our party. And out of the 10 of us 5 had their orders wrong. We did get all our food but also like Mike G. we took what was wrong because it seemed impossible for the waitress to understand that I did NOT order cottage cheese I ordered cole slaw. It was the 2nd bad overall experience we have had there and we will not go back. We went back after the 1st time because I feel anyone can have an off day and deserves a 2nd chance. Paragon had their 2nd chance and blew it worse than the 1st time!

Had a glass of tea dumped in my lap by the waitress as soon as I sat down. Accidents happen so we ordered our meals. I ordered Italian dressing on my salad and got Ranch. Ate it anyway because I like Ranch too. We all ordered the catfish dinners. Catfish dinners were brought out to four members of our party while the other two of us were told our catfish would be "right up". Several minutes later the two of us were brought a baked potato and told the catfish was "on the way". Meanwhile people that had arrived 20 minutes after us were seated and were given their food and began to eat. My nieces baked potato was stone cold but at least she had her catfish. I finally had enough and left the restaurant (without ever being served my catfish). The waitress was less than friendly throughout our experience and the place where my friend was seated when we first sat down had mayonnaise smeared on the table (this should have sent up red flags), Will never go back and would never recommend this place to anyone.

I've eaten at Paragon several times, and each time I've had good service!

This restaurant is extremely popular with senior citizens and police officers for some reason-- I think it's because this seems like a 'throwback' restaurant in many ways-- good food, no nonsense decor, real ingredients, and an awesome price....

Many things on the menu are good-- try the reuben sandwich, fried chicken dinner, any of the burgers, or any of the salads-- I've tried them all and loved them all!! OH YEAH, almost forgot to mention that when you get to pay the bill, you walk past a counter full of delicious looking pies and cakes that makes Denny's look like cheap frozen deserts.... Friday they have a special on desserts for dinner too, so if you have a sweet tooth along with wanting a good priced dinner, you'd better come here-- that's all I'll say about that! (hehehe) Paragon also serves breakfast items too, but I've never tried them though.

If you're looking for a good priced, quiet sit-down dinner on the west side, Paragon is very hard to beat. I'd almost say that it's a loosely-kept secret on the West side of Indy!
