I've been going to Bazbeaux's for years now and it's always great and the staff is always nice. I've done carryout, the express lunch menu, and actually dined in. I've never been disappointed with the food or service. If you're not big on it being noisy or busy I would avoid the lunch hour during the week, but it's perfect for a quick sit-down bite or take-out since they sell by the slice during the week.

Overall, I think it's the best pizza place in the city and well worth trying if you haven't before.

Love it. Great crust and flavor- The Quattro is my favorite. We often get it at work and there is never a complaint!

Nice atmosphere although it can get really crowded and noisy at times -- the price of success of and popularity. Outdoor sidewalk seating. Oh, and GOOD pizza.

We went to Bazbeaux's a few weeks ago with my girlfriends family. We were seated in just a few minutes, but felt a little crammed in to the small table they gave the six of us We got the cheese bread, and it was ok, nothing spectacular. My girlfriend and I shared the quattro formagio pizza. It had four different cheeses on it along with bacon and mushrooms. It was good, but I would have liked to have had a little less ricotta cheese on it. There were huge scoops on it and it dominated the flavor. If I go back I will definitely try something different.

I also heard nothing but good things about this place and was dissapointed by what I got. Overprised and the food was just fair. Nothing special at all. Service not that good either.

Cher said it best...If I could turn back time. I remember when Bazbeaux was down the street in a two car garage. The help was friendly, food came out fast,and interestingly, no wait. That has all changed.My wife and two kids stopped into the place a couple of weeks ago and I must say, we will never go back. The pizza took 45 min. and when we got it it was the wrong order. Deciding not to wait for a new one we ate the pizza anyway.After about 30 min the waitress decided to check back with us.We now drive up to Fishers and dine at the Greeks Pizzaria. Wish they would open one here...

Got to love Bazbeaux! It is awesome. My favorite is the 4 cheese--not sure if the spelling is right, but quatro formaggio.

We had heard nothing but great things about this place, so we were excited to try it. We arrived at 6:15 on a Friday night and expected a long wait. They hostess told us it would be 40-45 minutes. Fine. We waited 45 minutes and went to check with the hostess if we were up soon. She was extremely rude and said, "I have no idea. We will seat you as soon as there is a table available." I asked if it would be 15 minutes, or another 45 and she snapped back, "I have no idea." About 15 minutes later (7:15, an hour after we arrived) we were seated and immediately placed our order with our waittress. After waiting for our pizza for 45 minutes, our kids started getting restless REALLY hungry, so we asked one of the servers for some crackers or something for our 4 and 5-year olds. He said, "We don't have any crackers." We asked if we could have bread or chips or anything. He rolled his eyes and said, "We do have garlic bread, but we would have to make it." And then walked away, muttering, "We are just busy tonight." Our waittress came by and we asked how much longer for the pizza. She said, "6 minutes." 10 minutes later, at 8:15 (an hour after our order was placed and 2 HOURS after arriving at the restaraunt) we finally had our pizza. It tasted terrific. Probably the best pizza we ever had, but we couldn't decide if it was because it really was the best pizza we ever had or we were just so hungry after the 2 hours wait. Rude staff, SLOW service, great pizza. We won't go back.

I can't believe how much I raved about my past experiences with Bazbeaux's Pizza. We expected a busy night when a group of my friends gathered for pizza, some for the first time at Bazbeaux's. There was an hour and a half wait, so we put our name in and left to get a drink to use up some time. We called twice just to check if the wait had changed and were given the amount of time left on our wait. We still arrived 15 mintues before our wait time was scheduled to end, and the host said we was still waiting for some people to leave and it would in fact still be 15 more minutes...no problem. My husband left with his friend to move his sport bike out of the pouring rain and in 2 minutes they called for our party. 4 out of 7 of us walked up to the hostess stand and they wouldn't seat us. We said they'll just be right back, they were parking a bike in a garage because it was pouring rain. Nope. Another large group had just come in and were seated before us because they were all right there. Come on. We waited an hour and half to eat and they just gave away our table like it was nothing. Apon asking for a manager to rectify the situation we were rudely greeted by a man in jean shorts and a t-shirt claiming to be the manager and if we didn't want to wait then we had better just leave. Now that's some customer service for you. His name was Chuck and his professionalism went right out the window and blew away with the rain that night. We ran down the street to the Front Page because at that point we just needed to get out of the rain and eat. Chuck from Bazbeaux's must be a fan of the Front Page too, because he stopped in 4 times while we were there to chat up the waitstaff.

Bazbeaux has the best pizza in Indianapolis. They have a broad menu with some eccentric pizza choices as well as great salads. There are two locations downtown and Broad Ripple and I've never had a bad experience at either one. Staff is always friendly. The atmosphere is wonderful. If you are tired of pizza chain pizzas, try theirs. I especially like their Quatrro Formaggio Pizza. I'm sure my spelling if off but it's the four cheese one!

In my opinion this is bar far the best pizzeria. Great food, great atmoshphere and great service. Extensive toppings offered and a great place to eat outdoors in the summer

Bazbeux has a bizarre name but the pizza is the best!!! They have fast delivery and friendly people!! They have a wide variety of things on their menu from pizza to sandwiches. Everyone should try it!!

Its good....if you want a fresh non traditional pizza....eating outside is great.........but as far as pizza on a scale of 1 to 10....... well its just not REAL PIZZA tooo fancy but it does taste good

If you think romance is out of the question try sitting downstairs! The room is dimly lit by warm recessed lights that further accentuate the yellow hued walls. Most of the tables only seat two and it is a lot quieter downstairs than up. When you eat downstairs you are not exposed to all the frantic waitstaff bustling about or the noises from a lot of people squeezed into a small space.

I've had a lot of different pizzas and Bazbeaux is the only one I would consider calling an actual restaurant. It was actually fun and enjoyable to eat there! Other places are simply chains and don't have and can't reproduce that wonderful and unique atomosphere.

I guess I can only give it a 10 though. In addition to the many wonderful pizza combinations, the sandwiches and salads are also delicious. The service is good and the servers are friendly. Working downtown would suck a lot more if not for Bazbeaux.

I went with a group of friends before a performance at the Murat, and we had fabulous service and food. We really enjoyed ourselves and that Quattro pizza!

I work at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis and we frequent this resturant every Friday. We Just love it! I just love there Salad Nicoise too! Every thing there is made fresh...i just can't say enought about them. Good Pick!

Bazbeaux Pizza is definitely a unique player in the restaurant business in Indianapolis. Anyone wanting a taste of something a little different should try it. (The basics are also available, although why go with vanilla when you could have tasty, one-of-a-kind toppings?)

I've been a fan of the downtown Bazbeaux for years. The pizza tastes so much better there than other places. I like the crowd, the music, and the outdoor dining. Bazbeaux makes for a great evening.

I can never say enough about the pizza at Bazbeaux's. It is simply the best pizza around. Always great service. Great atmosphere. Great people. I highly recommend you take your out of town friends to eat at Bazbeaux!
