A Few years ago, when i was in search of a daycarefor my 2 young children. I visited alot of daycares, There were a couple of there would have been no way that i would have left my children in their care, but when i visited kids kingdom i felt positive it was a center my children would have been safe in. The enitre staff were so nurturing and friendly my kids learned so much from their A Beka curriculum, they were reading small words by the time they were four years old, they are in school now and still talk about their fun and learning experience they had at kids kingdom. I am expecting a baby boy in a couple of months and he will be attending kids kingdom the BEST Daycare in town.
Sincerely,
P. Adams

The problem that most parents have with a daycare is that the attention a caregiver gives to your child is divided among several other children as well, and it often makes parents feel neglectful sending their child to be cared for by others. At Kids Kingdom, the staff does a great job of recreating the environment that the average child thrives in at home. I hate other stuffy daycares that have to strict of a schedule or little patience for kids being individuals. I am employed there in the infant nursery. I try to treat the babies like small adults- i would never talk to them like they were stupid or like their feelings arent adequate because they arent members of society yet. I want the room that we spewnd so much time in to be intimate and cozy, so I play a variety of music, burn incense and encourage creativity and learning. I want to nuture the emotional and artistic sides of the babies so that when the cold and machine like sytem of elementary school comes a long, the dont get lost trying to be themselves. I send the babies home to their parents safe, happy, and clean and the parents really appreciate it-they say so every day. I hope that even as little as they are they understand that they are loved here and genuilny cared for by all of their teachers. Brandy is the best employer i could hope for and ive never seen a caregiver work so hard to make the kids have good self esteem . The more fun I have at the end of the day- the more productive I feel. This is the place to bring your children if you want them to feel like they are at home with loving family, learning, experiencing, growing and preparing to become responsible, imaginativem and caring people.

Pros: interactive learning, cozy-intimate church setting, healthy habits

Cons: less one on one time with the kids ;(

At one point my 1 year old granddaughter, who was still bitting from time to time... was given, by the director, Hot Sauce, placed in her mouth - her theory was that it would teach her not to bite. This is crazy and dangerous. One of the baby aids did not feed the babys their bottles for a full day. We would come home with the same 2 filled bottles we sent them with. When asked she just shrugged her shoulders and said she had too many kids to watch. When we ask if they did a background check on her - Brandy just shrugged HER shoulders and never answered. Thankfully she got fired within 2 months - damage done. Also, entry way to the foyer at church where we take the kids was rarely secure. kids could come and go as they please. Often when I went to pick up my g'kids the door was wide open. We have moved our kids to another daycare on the southside of town this week due to the extreme conditutions a Kings Kingdom.

Pros: $$$ you save on sitter

Cons: lack of supervision, teaching, amount of time to play outside, too much critizism of kids, fear of children getting hurt by at least one of the teachers
