UPDATE: After Chad Probst and the Vorderman team learned about my recent service experience through the online reviews they immediately reached out to rectify the situation and retain me as a customer. They were very apologetic and understood where my frustration stemmed from. Vorderman has agreed to address any issues, free of charge, with my vehicle that has resulted from my recent service with them... they even gave me a loaner car for the duration of the service.

If everything goes well this time around, I will be returning to Vorderman for future servicing of my GTI.

AVOID: Worst dealership experience ever! Too many details to get into but just moved to Indiana from Florida with my '09 GTI and needed an expert diagnosis on my car. After being met by a pompous service advisor, on the way out of the dealership my wife and I witnessed the lot boy doing donuts with my car in the back of the parking lot. Not only did Vorderman NOT repair one of the issues they admitted it was there and said it was normal for the climate. When I confronted them about why other VWs don't make the noise they claimed it is the result of a different design. So instead of fixing the issue that I found, they decided to fix something else and try to make me believe it would fix the noise. Secondly, they misdiagnosed my anti lock brakes failing in the snow (pretty dangerous) and claimed it was fixed when they sent me off on the road... After putting my foot into the brake to test it myself the ABS failed again... Tech came for a ride along and told me it was acting normally. After insisting he was wrong, a second diagnostic scan uncovered a fault ABS Control Module.... Oh I almost forgot, they also DESTROYED one of my wheels by running into the vehicle lift. Although they offered to replace it at no charge, it still should have never happened.

After all was said and done, they tried to up charge me for work that was covered under my extended warranty. Only after I called the warranty company myself and verified all the charges did the service advisor adjust the bill.

I have never been compelled to write a review until now... Will also file a formal complaint with the BBB.

We purchased our Volkswagen EOS convertible from Vorderman Volkswagen and we LOVE it!!!

The crew at Vorderman perform regular maintenance on our vehicle for free, and always give the car back washed and vacuumed! (free oil change, fluids checks, tire checks, etc...all free for three years as part of the purchase)

We did have a little bit of trouble recently with a seal on the trunk, and their service department was extremely easy to work with and took care of the warranty work quickly and professionally. They have never charged us for any warranty work.

This Spring we hit a huge pothole and it flattened our front tire. Upon checking prices, we found Vorderman's price (for the new tire, mounting and balancing) to be lower than the same tire from Sears.

We would recommend this dealership to anyone!! They are great to work with!

I took my new beetle in for factory warranty recall of the catalytic converter and sunroof repair. Volkswagen mailed the paperwork to me and should be repaired @ no cost to me.(SO the paperwork said) However when I picked the car up, they said I owed them seventy -five dollars for the diagnostic. The mil light had come on and they told me to tighten my gas cap, and for this I owed them 75.00$$ !! I was shocked and hurt that they would so blatantly rip me off like that. I will drive a long way to avoid vorderman volkswagen in the future.

I have all of my Volkswagon Jetta service completed at Vordermans. Heath in service is always very friendly to work with and the work is always completed on time and at the quoted price. As a former automotive master technician, I would recommend this service department to everyone. GREAT SERVICE!!

I took my Eurovan in for some problems that were fully covered under the extended warranty (I was assured would be a bumper to bumper coverage when purchased). They proceeded to tell me they did not know if my problems were covered by the warranty, charge me for them. And some of the problems, they just told me were nonexistent, and charged me for looking at those, too. One item was a cracked oil housing, they choose not to wipe a smudge to reveal a crack! I had a rattling noise coming out of my AC, they asked what I thought was wrong with it (that is why I am bringing to them), I said I do not know. They checked for leaves and said there is nothing wrong with it, I now have no AC. They assured me they would call me back once they could find out all of the details on the warranty because it was a different company than they currently use for coverage. That was funny, no one called back, talked with the service manager, Heath, he assured a call back...3 weeks later no call. We will be calling the operations manager next. I have heard from other local customers this is their service departments mantra. Watch out for their service!

We ordered our New Beetle here and have nothing but positive things to say. They were very kind and not at all pushy. They made us want to come back and buy another car from them.
