4 Stars: Thrifty Threads (by B M.)

Thrifty Threads has actually moved to 86th St in Indianapolis (near 86th and Ditch). It is a great second-hand store ... or I guess I should say "gently-used." The prices are fair and proceeds benefit the Julian Center ... a non-profit organization that helps victims of domestic violence. The center is so helpful to abused women and their children, providing shelter, food, clothing, school for the children, counseling services, and so much more!

4 Stars: Decent selection, good pricing, better cause (by Angela B.)

I often go thrift shopping, and try to include the Julian Center's Thrify Threads each time. Proceeds go to the battered women's shelter located downtown.

I always do my donations here, as some of the more needed/wearable items aren't sold, but given directly to the shelter. Diapers, unopened baby food, baby toys, etc. are all very needed here.
