I have been to this restaurant several times while visiting Indy on business. I am from California and know good Mexican food and was leary about not being able to get good tasting ethnic food in the mid-west. I was pleasantly surprised! This restaurant was just as good as any other Mexican place I have eaten at back home. Thus the reason why I keep going back! This is a family run business. You can feel the love from the moment you walk in the door to the moment your plate it sat in front of you. You will feel like part of the family when you come here!

the food at el jaripeo is excellent. the location seems a bit sketchy (in a strip mall), and at times the service is a bit slow. HOWEVER...it is definitely worth any wait you might have, the food is authentic and delicious.
