Patrons settle into comfortable booths and tables in dining rooms with plants, artwork and décor reminiscient of the villas in the Tuscan countryside. Starters include scampi, sausage or pepperoni pizza, and several soup choices, as well as a signature seafood dip (crab, shrimp, cheese and marinara). Entrees include classics like lasagna, fettuccine Alfredo and chicken parmigiana. There are also "Garden Fare" options, which promise 30 percent fewer calories.

I cannot recommend this restaurant. We went in and ordered, then was told they were out of lasagna. Then when it came time to order dessert, the dessert I wanted was frozen. I had to take my dessert home to thaw, while everyone else ate theirs. It was not a good night for me.

This restaurant has excellent Italian food. The service can be a little on the slow side during busy times but other than that it's great. The salads and breadsticks are fantastic!

Olive Garden is an excellent place for italian food. This restaurant is good for the family or a date. The wait is never too long and the food is delicious. They also serve drinks.

Indianapolis has so many high quality restaurants, especially Italian, I am personally appalled that anyone would vote a mediocre chain restaurant like Olive Garden as one of our city's best. This result is either a clear indication of a lack of taste/class on our citizens or possibly that no one ever makes it more than a few blocks from home to eat.
