BUYER BEWARE! Make sure you read and understand your contract 100%. I had a contract ready to sign and the price of the vehicle was $1500 more than agreed. No where in my contract was this $1500 disclosed and explained. It was added in to the price of the vehicle. When questioned we were told it was an "unforeseen/surprise" charge because of being a high risk. How was it and unforeseen charge when the company that was making the loan was Bart's Credit Corp??? My finance knew how badly I wanted that vehicle and was willing to pay half of that surprise charge. The credit manager turned him down flat!!! All of this took place 9/6/11...the vehicle is STILL LISTED on their website...too bad they refused to compromise $750.

customer had an opportunity to purchase the car as/is for cash at the web price....in this case financing the purchase was the only option and due to circumstances the best finance package the dealership was able to secure for the customer was unsatisfactory and the sale didn't take place....

We encourage all customers to have the vehicle inspected prior of the purchase to be aware of the condition of the vehicle. We do not do any type of covering up issues on a vehicle. They are used cars when we buy them as well as when our customers do. We do our best to purchase the best used cars available to us.

In fact, I have to call continuously if I want anything to happen. Very poor communication. It is August and the vehicle is still not fixed. There are oil leaks, transmission problems and now the vehicle's right front wheel is making knocking noises. I am very unhappy and would not recommend Bart's Car Store to anyone.

We participated in correcting the issues all the way through the process. The vehicle was priced very well according to the condition of the vehicle. We unfortunately do not have our own service department forcing us to outsource the work. We have no control over they're schedule and have no choice but to wait like any other customer for parts and service.

I will never ever buy a car from Bart's again.After signing papers on a Friday we walked in on a Saturday to pick the car up.On the way out the door the salesman hands me the thermostat housing and says the guy who traded it in left it in the car.My girlfriend and 4 yr. old child drive off and the car is spewing antifreeze all over within 10 miles.Then the rt. front caliper is froze up and that had to be replaced.While having the hood open I notice the smooth paint on the right front 1/4 panel and it has been wrecked.A week later the starter goes out.Now the car keeps stalling.On top of it in their hurry to get you out the door a powertrain policy i didn't want got thrown in with the paper work that they will not refund.I've had some rough times with a bankruptcy and divorce trying to get back on my feet. And they sell me a 5400$ car for almost 8500$ when all is said and done?Bart's has infuiated me to no end.They are taking these autos from the auction,sweeping them out ,then giving it a wash,and on the lot it goes.I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER CAR FROM BART'S..........EVER!!!!

The customer made roughly $400 in repairs to the vehicle after purchasing the vehicle. We cut the customer a check for $400 to refund him. Customer satisfaction is very important to us. Unfortunately working with used cars things don't always go smoothly, but we are always motivated to rectify the situation, as we felt we did in this situation. When you purchase a warranty through Barts there is a whole contract very similar to a bank contract that has to not only be signed by the customer but also initialed by the price being charged. This cost for the warranty is also shown in at least 5 other forms signed by the customer. This warranty is through a third party company not owned or ran by Barts and it is there policy that after being turned in warranties can not be refunded. We feel that in an unfortunate situation we did what we could to make it right and hope you consider shopping with us again in the future. Thank you.

I bought a Ford Explorer from here about 3 months ago from Jerad Elett and about a week later had a minor service problem with the truck, so I called in and he went out of his way to get me prices on service and parts at his cost. The price was great and the service was second to none! I will definately be dealing with only Barts in the future!

This customer was sold a vehicle at a discounted price well under book value. The vehicle was also sold "As-Is" as stated in the paperwork signed at the dealership. We offered to help with our cost on any labor and parts for the repair as well as coordinating the work. The customer refused to accept our help as well as the opportunity to purchase a warranty at the time of the sale. All customers are given ample opportunity to test drive and inspect any vehicle. We appreciate any feedback that can help better our business and would be more then happy to assist any of our customers with any service work.

My husband and I recently bought a newer pre-owned BMW 530i at the Illinois Rd location. I was very happy with the way I was treated as a woman- no condescending attitudes or patronizing words. When my husband came in to see the car after I had test driven it, they had it freshly washed and ready to pick up. The price was below book value and the warranty is excellent. For any woman shopping out there frustrated with the poor service, try Bart's Car Store (and Jason Kennedy!). It was a wonderful experience and we plan on going back.

I have gone to this carlot several times, as well as thier website. Each time I go there is such a big selection, and it is always changing. If they don't have it in they will look for it and get it for you. They go out of thier way to make you a happy customer. I am still looking for the perfect SUV and I bet Bart's will be the ones I buy it from.
