Ice cream sandwich is good, think overall they are priced too high for the amount you get. Would rather go somewhere else to get more for my money
not the only place in town

As a former Custard Cutie from the 70s I have a slight bias. However, since those days I have been forced to try different establishments who say that they are Frozen Custard but are clearly NOT. This is the real deal as far as I can tell. My favorite is a butter pecan sundae with chocolate custard. Just a plain cone is wonderful too...This is a walk up or drive up establishment and the Custard Cuties are still good at what they do. They are a little pricey but the best deal is buying it in quarts to be placed in your freezer over the winter until they open again. The "Custard Stand" has great memories... This isn't diet food but worth every bite. I can also tell you that the Custard Stand at Columbian Park in Lafayette, IN is nearly the same mix, but the owners son told my husband that he "watered" it down some to increase his profit margin. To my knowledge the Logansport store has never wavered from the original. This is some Good Eats for sure!!

I grew up eating Sycamore frozen custard, and have never found its equal. The menu has a wide variety of traditional favorites, including sundaes, shakes, sandwiches, etc. Their Spanish hot dogs are a great complement to an ice cream treat. The prices have gone up in the past few years, but I don't feel they're out of line with other ice cream shops. If you're near Logansport between March and October, be sure to stop!

This is a small town ice cream shop. Awesome ice cream with the home town taste. The ice cream is a little more expensive; however, it is worth every penny. This family owned business is a landmark for Logansport. It is a must visit shop if you love home-made ice cream with friendly faces.

PROS: family owned
CONS: towards East end on a side street which can be hard to get to.

Sycamore Drive is by the far the most popular ice cream facility in Logansport. It has been the best for over 50 years with daily homemade ice cream and sandwiches. They are seasonal but well worth the winter "weight".

This is by far the best ice cream I have ever eaten, and anyone who tries it for the first time agrees. People drive from cities away to come here.
