Schwieterman Steven C Md - Associated Family Medical

I am a patient of Dr Steve and I have never had a problem not even as a new patient. You may have to wait a while in the waiting room but he is worth the wait as you know he is giving time the patient needs and you will also get time you need when you get in.

I live over an hour away and have doctors closer but no way would I think of changing. I am 100% confident that he will keep me healthy.

As a patient of this doctor I was appalled upon hearing of this office turning away a very ill woman because she was a new patient. Apparently you must go through a new patient visit (undoubtedly to get the insurance money from you) prior to you getting sick. This woman was told she would have to wait 2 to 3 weeks for an appointment and that she should go to a Redimed. This is a doctor's office for goodness sake. She offered to come back for the new patient appt. whenever they could schedule her in if only she could get an appointment for her illness now and was refused. I called and verified this as fact. In their defense, he is a great doctor, but I guess it depends on who you are as to whether he will see you or not. Very sad indeed.

PROS: Good doctor.
CONS: Cannot get in if you are a new patient and ill.
