Animal Hospital-Martinsville

I've been taking my pets to the Animal Hospital of Martinsville for years. I have seen both Dr. Maxwell and Dr. Johnson and they are both good veterinarians.

Dr. Maxwell has come in for emergencies after hours for us and Dr. Johnson has come to our house when we asked him to. We also had a cat with oral cancer and Dr. Maxwell knew of a new medicine that was shown in Europe to slow the cancer. It really helped our cat.

My only complaints that I have about this clinic is that sometimes the secretarial staff have gotten records mixed up between the pets before.

Also, sometimes I have had questions that I have called in about a health condition of my pets and the secretarial staff have answered them incorrectly instead of asking the veterinarians about it. I also wish that the veterinarians would look over my pets and do an overall check-up each time I bring them in.

Overall, the care that these doctors give to my pets is very good and I think that they and the secretarial staff really care about the animals.
