The Childrens Museum

The Children's Museum is a fun place to go even if you are just an overgrown child. I went with a friend to see an I-max or whatever it's called at the museum and while we were waiting to go in i was looking around the place a little and it seemed pretty cool. Long story short, I went back with a girl. It's good for dates because there is a lot to do and you get to act like a kid and if you can't stand your date you can pretend to be interested in the cave, or train, or the polar bear. And it is interesting.

The Childrens Museum in Indianapolis is awesome! It's on 5 levels and has something for everyone. There are new exibits all the time but they keep their favorites as well. There is a special area set up for very young children. We used to spend hours there when my boys were small. Now they prefer Science Central and climbing the rock wall. They also set up a large slide during Christmas and the kids love it.

Expesially fun at christmas time when they put up the tobaggan run in the stairs. When you first arrive head straight ahead to the concieres desk and get free tickets to lilly theater you will be glad you did.

WOW! This is an incredable children's museum! If your kid likes dinosaurs you MUST go, or trains, or construction, or.... There are SO many things to do here its easily a two day trip. There's a merry-go-round and an interactive toddler play area where they can climb, get into water and sand and have an altogther awesome time. The only con that I can see is that its a bit overwhelming. IF you can go with someone who's been there before its great! If you live in the area you need to get the year membership!
