Avis Nails

I went to have a pedicure today and Avis nails in Tippecanoe Mall, was filthy. They charged $31.00 for a pedicure and didn't even add any aloe to the water. They used a hard ripped up old towel and the guy doing it talked to everyone and didn't pay any attention to what he was doing. The worse part was, he didn't even clean it when he was finished. He went to talk on his cell phone. The guy that was doing the "receptionist" position was playing a PSP game and wouldn't even look up as he asked my name. The place is unsanitary and i would NOT recommend it. I am calling the State Board to have them check this establishment.

Ok, so I'm a guy, but I went here at the insistence of my wife to get a manicure for our wedding. It was actually nice. It's located in a mall, but it's not crowded or loud. The staff is very friendly, and the prices are the best in town. I don't know when I might get another manicure, but if I do, Avis Nails is the place to go.

CONS: People walking by...

Excellent place. I haven't found a better price on a combined manicure and pedicure, it's just $35. They also have a student discount, it's 10%, and it's on any nail service. You can make an appointment, or do a walk-in; the place is busy, so sometimes walk-ins have to wait. Definitely worth it, though. They always do a massage on hands and feet, its the best!

PROS: excellent quality and value
CONS: better have an appointment
