I love this place. You could spend forever diging and truging your way throught the piles of stuff. It makes finding the vintage peice of your dreams that much more exciting! I love the lady that works there I find her to have such a unique personality and feel like she would have millions of interesting strories to tell. All in all it is like walking into one giant old closet. I would have it any other way.

This place was disgusting! I travel all over the country searching out vintage clothing & this place is in my top WORST! Opened up at least 20 minutes late & then store looked like a PIG STY! Or should I say a Cat Litter Box...Rose (owner) had 3 mangy cats running rampant among the merchandise. One was even perched on top of a mound of clothes for sale....she called it his "nest". Mounds of clothing were the display of choice it seems. Instead of hanging items on racks, they were just wadded up on the floor, tables, anything that was flat. Not a place that is shopper friendly for sure. Rose, the owner, repeatedly took items out of my hand declaring..."I'm going to sell that on ebay..." Puh.Lease! Most of her prices were far & above what they would even sell for on eBay. I left empty handed, which is a hard thing for me to do, but I WOULD NOT support her disgusting store. She should be ashamed! Definitely not a member of the Vintage Fashion Guild, looks like she has been robbing the Goodwill boxes for quite a time. Don't waste your time or your gas in visiting this junk pit. I rate this store a -2/10. I don't think it can get much worse than this place.

I went there once with some friends, and I'll admit I was pretty taken by surprised. If you're one of those people who likes looking around eBay at all the vintage clothing and accessories, wishing you could find a place with tons of stuff with character in your hometown... well, if you live in Fort Wayne, this is your place. They have tons of clothing from... well, most of them were 1960sish, and they're all in good condition. Old hippy dresses, cute wool coats, war uniforms, those cheesy 1850s hats, clunky bracelets, that sort of stuff.

I think this place is a consignment store, but I'm not sure.

The only real downside is that the stuff is decently expensive. Then again, most specialty stores are, right?

PROS: A place with tons of character, nothing else like it that I know of in town
CONS: Not very pocketbook-friendly.
