I was not happy with my stylist there and moved on after a bad experience with color change. I found my old stylist to be unhelpful and in fact very rude. Because he other stylists seemed to be much more interested in accomodating and pleasing their clients, nicer, professional etc, than I found my old stylist to be I'm giving the salon a higher rating than I otherwise would.

I've been going to Jata's for many years. More than I can remember. And I have never once had an issue with my hair. They always listen to what I am looking for and what I am wanting. They are more than happy to give me advice if they think the cut or color would not work well for my features they would suggest something else. Great service! You won't find a better place!

I have been going to Jata's for 6 years and have always been pleased with all of my services. I have sent many of my friends to Jata's as well. They have also received the same pleasant experience. I was shocked when I read Anne's comment. Not only do I get excellent service at this upscale salon but I also see a familiar face everytime I go. All of the employee and management are always friendly and willing to help. They have donated multiple times to different charity's that I have been involved in!!!!5 stars for Jata's and their "management".

If you are accustom to a professional atmosphere and stylist...don't go here. They do not listen to your needs/desires for your hair - and if they do listen - they don't show it - my hair looked like white hay when when they finished. When I called to tell them my issue - after having another person/stylist fix it - the manager argued with me about the service. These people should NOT be in business. Avoid at all costs

I worked next to Jata's for many years. I have always used them for my hair, and I have had a lot of customers who also use them. I have never heard a bad review and can only say positive things myself. Jen is doing my hair for my wedding and I couldn't be more excited!

jatas is understated elegant - relaxing and friendly - my stylist is superb as is my pedicurist and manicurist. i have been going every week for about three years and will continue doing so. the receptionist is one of a kind!!!!

the person who complains of loud music must have a hearing impairment - i have never had that problem as a weekly customer and if the receptionist was not friendly to her then she must have been very unpleasant to the receptionist.

Not sure what the other review is all about, but the three stylists that I've used at Jata are all excellent. They just switched to Aveda Products too. Even went to NYC for first class training. They're prices aren't even that expensive. The music volume is very low and it's very easy to have a conversation. Never had an issue with the receptionist either. Jacque, Jen, David are all fabulous and great with color. Svetlana does facials that feel like heaven. Rita and Irina do fab mani/pedicures.

I only had two experiences at Jata's as my hairdresser moved to a new location so I followed. My haircuts were always great but I just didn't like the atmosphere at Jata's. The music was too loud. I couldn't hear my stylist and we usually engage in conversation the whole time. The front desk clerk was not very friendly either. I didn't feel welcome or comfortable at all in this salon.
