David & Mary

I have been to David and Mary's 3 times, and I will never return. My first 2 visits weren't bad, I had my hair reshaped and cut into a cute style by 2 different stylists (both of which didn't stay with the business long enough for me to see again). They cut it well and gave me a modern shape that I was happy with for a reasonable price; however, both technicians left after their initial few weeks of employment.

My 3rd visit, I was scheduled with someone completely out of my price point ($200 for full highlights!) eventhough I specifically asked for a new grad. I requested a warm auburn tone, and I left with PINK HAIR! Pink bangs and pink highlights--all of my colleagues asked me where I'd gone so they would be certain not to go there. When I called to complain, the female owner said that there was nothing she could do for me and she wouldn't 'apologize' for the price. I can honestly say, my inability to establish a continual relationship with a technician, the horrendous price, the absent customer service response to my complaint, and PINK HAIR combined to be the absolute worst salon experience I've ever had. Will NEVER return.

I recently visited David & Mary Salon for the first time and had a wonderful experience! My day consisted of hair color/cut, and a Mani/pedi. Someone from the front desk even offered to show me a fresh new makeup look. I felt so amazing when I left that day! I just read some of the other reviews and am confused by the negative comments-don't all companies mark up products? It's called making a profit (I am a business owner myself) and the makeup that was applied stayed with me throughout the evening. Thank you to the lovely ladies at David & Mary!

Beware of products you can buy these on line your name cosmetics.. They pay next to nothing for these products and charge you 3 times the amount. Buyer Beware!!!

I booked an appointment for a spa for my wife's birthday 2 1/2 weeks before the date. 5 days before my wife's birthday, I was contacted and notified that they had "double booked" the aqua room for the "steaming massage" and that they had nothing else available for that day. I was offered some lame alternative and no compensation or discount. Needless to say, I will never go there, get a David & Mary gift card for family or friends, or recommend them to anyone. I thought only airlines double booked reservations.

While the Spa has nice surroundings, I would never return. Respect for people is a high priority in my life and will always be.

The employees seem like talented frightened mice that run around the tyrannical, meglo-maniacal, cosmetically updated, outdated "hair dresser" - the woman known as Mary - spoke with complete disdain to her employees - made pejorative remarks peppered with a sense of elitism that seems blatantly out of place in our friendly city. Perhaps the most fitting analogy I can provide is Joan Rivers. Overdone, anachronistic, and quaint if you're a curious tourist or a hungry-for-business cosmetic surgeon. Perhaps we have found our very own Joan Collins. This Mary is not a pro-human person. She's the epitome of the word that rhymes with rich but begins with a B.

The one hour massage is amazing. It is 80 dollars but it is definitely worth it if you are willing to splurge. I suggest that you do not go to the massage sleepy because you might fnd yourself falling asleep on the massage table!

I have visited David and Mary salon many times. The spa pedicure is worth every single penny. They charge you about sixty dollar. They do a scrub, a mask, moisture and massage even before they get to the actual toenails. Iam very much satisfied with their work. You can experience a difference from other spas. Their work is unbelievable. You need to book an appointment. The only demerit is that their price is high. I like to visit and i have recommended to many of my friends.

David & Mary Salon has everything from makeup application lessons to massage and skin treatments and waxing. David and Mary are a husband and wife team and they have their own line of products which you can purchase. I think the prices are reasonable for the service and the quality you recieve. You can get a hot stone massage that lasts around 60 minutes for $95.00. They also now offer airbrush tanning which is a safe alternative to tanning booths. The color they apply has no odor and you will not look orange. Its a very natural tan. This runs $35 and seems to take around 25-30 minutes. The staff is very well trained and personable. There is something for everyone here. They even have manicures for men. And the interior of the salon is also very beautifully designed and adds to the relaxing experience.
