Rodgers Daniel D Dvm - Aboite Animal Hospital Ltd

We would never take our dogs to anyone but Dr. Rodgers. He knows and remembers them and is very careful to check them out completely before surgery for things like blood-clotting, etc. This was especially important to one of our dogs who did have problems with clotting. I feel like he tries to have the best equipment and to be up on all the latest.

Please consider my 4 stars to be a really good rating. I am perhaps stricter in my rating than other people. Very few places would ever qualify for 5 stars to me. Off hand I can't think of any.

The only problems we have ever had was with one of the Doctors that Dr. Rodgers had working at the Aboite Animal Hospital several years ago. He was abrupt and uncaring and was not at all what we expected from them. He didn't seem to be there too long but we made sure not to go to him again. I think he may be the doctor who opened up the 'other' Aboite Animal hospital on Covington.

Also, they do not have Saturday hours and of course our dogs always hurt themselves on the weekends. To be 'world class' (5 stars), I would like them to have at least 1/2 day Saturday hours and to have one of their vets on call so at least you could leave a message and they would call you back and would discuss the problem with you and even meet you at the clinic in a very grave emergency (although referring to the Emergency pet clinic is fine in most situations but to be able to talk to someone and ask questions about whatever is wrong is something that is very important to me.

I think especially for big dogs, Dr. Rodgers is the best and most knowledgeable in town.

I had taken my pets and pets of my family members to Dr. Rodgers and his staff for years. My visits included standard annual check-ups, end of life care, and a fatal condition. I moved out of town and have yet to find a vet that compares. This hospital has ruined me for life because wherever I go now, I compare it to Aboite Animal Hospital--the other hospitals/vets are never close to being as good. Dr. Rodgers and his staff set a high standard for care, he and his staff made me and my pets feel special and the prices are very reasonable. Aboite Animail Hospital is the best I have found.

I have taken my two cats Jimmy Ray Charles, and Big Chief Sparrow Feather to Aboite Animal Clinic on several occasions. I have found no problems, as a matter of fact I have been very pleased by the service and commitment at this office. It has been very warm, personal and friendly. I was made to feel very comfortable and right at home. It is very obvious that the care of the animals are foremost and the whole staff seems exceptionally qualified.

The prices are very fair. I have certainly been charged a lot more for a lot less in other places.

Before I discovered Aboite Animal Clinic I took one of my cats Bob Ghandi to another vet in town and that cat was put down. I wish with all my heart that I would have found Aboite frst. I believe Bob Ghandi would still be with me.

This is a group of very special people. I suggest you give them a try. I think you'll be very happy.
