The entire crew at the Georgetown Animal Hospital is great. They really care about your pet. We've taken 4 dogs, 4 or 5 cats there and they've taken care of our family of critters for the past 10 years. Dr. Kiefer has pin pointed several serious issues with our rescue dogs and brought them all around and my poor baby Zack has had problems with a brain injury and several infections that were all diagnosed correctly and treated with expertise. I will not trust any body else for our animal needs. Also, their grooming service is great - Molly, our stocky, long haired lab mix needs to be groomed on a regular basis during the warmer months just to stay cool and she always looks great. Really good people - I thank God that they are all there.
I had been a long time client. My dog was a rescued cocker spaniel and as a result had a behavioral problems. He was always treated kindly and with respect. He lived a good long life and when the time came when it was time to let him go Dr. Kiefer was there for me. He gave me the time to say good bye and didn't even charge me for his services that day. Two weeks later I received a sympathy card from Georgetown Animal hospital saying that they had made a donation in honor of my dog to the Purdue Animal Medicine Research Center.
After some time to grieve, I got a new dog and he is now a client. I'd never go anywhere else!
I had to take my Jazzy (poodle) there for an ear infection we didn't have a wait and the Dr and his assistants were very helpful!! I am on a very tight budget but I must say they were more reasonable then I thought...I would highly recommend them to those of us on a shoe string budget!!
Frank Kiefer and his staff are great. They've provided excellent care and the diagnoses have been spot on.
Several friends have taken their animals there after ineffective care at other facilities and the problems were taken care of quickly.
We've been clients for more than thirty years and wouldn't think of going anywhere else.
Pros: Great diagnostician, fair prices, caring staff
Cons: No Afterhours Emergency Care
