Mr Fuel

On Monday 10-05-2009, I was getting gas at this location when I was confronted by four employees and one customer about a mistake they had made. I went through the normal process with a credit card, card was accepted and authorized,to which I began pumping my gas.When completed, message asking if I wanted a receipt appeared,I declined ( a mistake I will never do again) and was preparing to leave. At this point a customer at another pump started telling me not to leave that he had just paid for my gas and that he gave the wrong pump number. I pulled up and went inside store, I was told that he had paid for my gas that I had just pumped. How can this be? My card was accepted, and the process had begun and was completed,. When entering the store I was asked to pay again and I refused to pay twice. How can two transaction be processed at one time! My thinking is there is no way once my card was accepted. After the error and my refusal to pay. I was told to wait on Management, who said that my activity never took place. I was told that if I didn't pay again, she would report me as a drive off. She began me to threaten me and told another employee to get my licence plate number. These actions are not acceptable. I have always been a long time customer and was embarrassed and upset at the way I was treated. I work at a trucking company across the street and in there everyday. I would have worked with them if this truly was a mistake but their actions were to make me look as if I was a thief. When I asked for the number to corporate I was denied. My job requires a license at this would put my employment at risk I paid twenty dollars cash for his fuel and left. These actions were unjustified! In the future Mr Fuel will not receive anymore of my business and I will make sure to pass this experience on to all fellow truckers to avoid MR FUEL......MANAGEMENT - Jillend Deaton.
