Elegance restaurant is a very family friendly place their food is very good and i know that like my family, there is a lot a costumers that have been going there for a very long time,i was reading the other review and the guy that complains about the certificate he bought online, shouldn't be! i'm sure that they have the rules and regulations on the page before you bought it! so you should've read them before and not blame the restaurant of your mistake! obviously you were upset and came up with tons of bad things to say about their food and desserts!as for the other review flap jacks had also an add on the paper! I guess they did needed to advertise! anyways... we love that place and will continue to eat there as long as they are there! :) Alice L

I've lived in Brownsburg for 16 years and had never been to Elegance. Got a coupon off of Restaurants.com for $25 off of $35 bill. First of all, it is very difficult to spend $35 for 3 people. We managed to do it by buying higher priced items and a couple of desserts. The food was so so. The desserts were horrible. The chocolate cake was completely stale and the bread pudding was devoid of any sweetness and served without a sauce. It tasted like Thanksgiving dressing with no seasoning. Although the soup was a large portion, I can't believe it was homemade. Tasted exactly like Campbells Mushroom soup or a knock-off brand. In fact, all of the entrees tasted like pre-packaged stuff except for my daughter's panini sandwich, which she said was tasteless. With the coupon, we were required to tip 18%, which was figured on the total bill, including tax. Tips shouldn't be figured on tax, but for service. Plus, the service was slow and the waitress kept forgetting things we asked for. At least the food was served hot.

Elegance has an extensive menu at a reasonable price. But since their remodeling several regulars have opted to go to Flap Jacks their sister restaurant also in Brownsburg. The ambiance at Elegance is not as friendly as Flap Jacks who works very hard to please the customer. Elegance has an ad in the local paper weekly were as their other restaurants have so much business they don't need to advertise. While talking to others it seems the feeling is mutual. We are no longer comfortable at Elegance.
