The Fulton County Historical Society site has a lot to offer those who are interested in local history. Having grown up in the area, I attended the annual Trail of Courage living history festival every year as a child. Native American dances, frontier craft demonstrations, and traditional foods are among the activities. As an adult, I enjoy visiting the museum, which used to be housed in a round barn but now is in a modern, heated building. Themed rooms display local artifacts in an interesting way.
