Once Upon A Child

I took probably 150 items in the other day and I was shocked that they actually offered me a good deal and gave me back over half of my name brand clothes! I didn't mind because I got quite a bit of money and I can still sell the other things somewhere else. The only thing I didn't like about this place was that the women working there weren't very friendly. And it's funny because I see that I'm not the only one on here who says that. Maybe they should read these things and try and change it! Like someone else pointed out....don't be shocked when you take very good items in and worth a lot of money and they only offer you $20 or $30. I was lucky I guess. I'm not going to expect that every time I go there. Good luck!

I wouldn't recommend them because they are very rude no matter how you treat them..I took at least 100 items of my sons old clothes and they only took 10 because they were to raggedy! My son had only worn them maybe twice because he is growing so fast,And while we were waiting for our clothes back I was looking around and some of the clothes they have WAY over priced.

Its a great place to shop at when you are poor and like to keep your child in "some" name brand clothing throughout the school year. My children don't really care about the name brand, because thats the way I have raised them thank god, but I do like the quality of some of the name brand clothing because its durable & last much longer then WalMart Clothing.

However, the negative end of the spectrum is, the girls that work there are RUDE and that causes me not to shop there as often as I would like to. These days its hard to come by great customer service anyway, but I say if you dont like yourself, then you dont like anyone else, so stay the hell home and stay miserable youself. Dont make others miserable that are shopping in the Once Upon A Child store. Because this day and age, you are going to be rude to the wrong damn person, and what can happen? Worse case scenario maybe?

If the staff does not change, I will drive all the way to Tennessee where there is a nice, HUGE, overly~organized, clean, and very friendly & professional staff awaiting to assist you @ their Once Upon A Child store on Wilma Rudolph Blvd only 1.5 hours away, and drive a 1/2 hour further to visit Nashville, TN.

The store is packed wall to wall. They do have a huge selection, just not enough room. Their clothes are usually all name brand and in excellent condition. Prices are pretty reasonable.
The staff is usually not overly friendly. They buy about half of what I usually take, but it averages out to around a dollar or maybe a little more per item. Then, they turn around and put five to six dollars on that same item. It is good if you just want to get rid of your kids clothing, but sometimes is hard to take selling a $30 hoodie that looks basically new for only $1.
Overall, it is a good medium to buy and sell kids clothes. Just don't be upset when you sell $200 worth of clothes for about $20.

You can normally find something good here to purchase. But I find you really don't get much from selling you stuff there. The staff isn't very nice, almost rude. The store is very crowded and poorly lit.

This store is one of my favorites. The store carries used clothing from sizes infant up to school age children. Their prices are very reasonable and they selection is hugh. They also carry toys, strollers, highchairs and many other items for babies. They do not carry diapers, formula and that type of stuff. They will also buy your used children clothing and toys. I have shopped at this store several time. Their employees are always helpful and very friendly. I would recommend this store to everyone.
