Dos Reales Authentic Mexican Restaurant

Great food, friendly service, and Osvaldo always says "hi". Every guest that comes to town is treated to Dos Reales, and they have all left happy. We've been eating there for years, and never anything but great food! Love it, love it, love it!

We have a large group of us that eat there every friday night. We go in about 9:30pm and the staff is great. They don't act upset that they get a large party in late. They are friendly, fun and so reasonable. They get your food out fast and hot!! We love it!

My wife and I visit there at least once a week. It did seem like the quality slipped a little earlier in the year but it is back to great now, in our opinion. The prices are reasonable, the service is good and friendly. The salsa is definitely homemade, but that is a good thing.
I love the Parilla Suiza (beef or chicken, chorizo optional). My wife loves the pescado chanciller (sp?), a fish dish.
Only two cons I can think of: Sometimes it's a little slow at the register paying the check, but they're busy. Also, my niece did not like the kids' pizza, it was really strange. The other kids stuff seems pretty usual, so we just would not order it again but would take a kid there. Otherwise, I would recommend the place.

I am sad to state that this place has gone down hill a great deal in the past year. I use to love this place but now I refuse to go. In January, I went there with a friend and we both ordered an entree that came with 3 taco's, rice and beans. The taco's were hard shell tacos. There was so much grease from the meat that the shells fell apart and were soggy. So, it was really a taco salad with soggy chips. I forgot to mention that it took them along time to wait on us. A couple of weeks later, I ordered food to go. When I got home, I realized it was chicken and not steak and shrimp like I ordered. I called them up and they did not care. The said sorry and hung up. I was charged extra for the shrimp. I will never go there again.
