I took my jeep in because it was heating up to quickly and the fan would kick on and run more often and to long. I found my power steering pump went out and I took the jeep to be serviced by Olathe Chrysler. I was told I needed a new power steering pump because the bearings went out. Ok no problem put a new one on. That didn't fix the problem the tech told me there was a restriction somewhere that wouldn't allow the fluid to push through the lines. Rather than simply test each line he told me the restriction was in the fan motor. Dealer cost $725.00 + 2 hours extra labor at $93.00/hr... Ok well if that's all I can do that's all I can do... Ended up my original fan motor was ok and after replacing the fan motor there was still a restriction. Now they decide to test the other lines and the restrictor inside of the line some how got a kink in it. He cut the kink out of the line hooked it back up and presto the problem was fixed. Oh and instead of the 2hour job to replace the fan motor this one magically took him 4 hours. I've taken my vehicles to Olathe Dodge many many times before and never had this experience. It will be the last time and I would suggest calling Overland Park Jeep they may not be able to get you in for a few days but it will be worth the wait!!! I won't go into the additional items I was billed for; just stay away.

They helped my husband get the correct part to fix our air conditioning in our Jeep Cherokee. They also were quick to order another part for our other Jeep and have 1 day turn around and a shuttle service. Best Jeep dealer we have ever gone too!

Ratings_icons Service Nightmares... Beware!!!!

It appears that they like to misdiagnose people just to get the business and when called on it, they make excuses... I took my wifes Jeep Wrangler in becaue the blower was working intermitently along with several other problems that would lead the average person to believe it was electrical. When I stopped in, I informed them that the cruise control, horn, cig lighter, wipers, blower did not work and the turn signals worked most of the time but not always. I culd wiggle the wires behind the blower knobs/radio and it woud come back on and then go out again. Sounds electrical, right? Olathe Dodge Jeep etc. did all the tests and told me that each probelm was a seperate issue. This is how I knew that my raping was about to begin!! I had them replace the clock spring which fixed the horn and cruise control and I was ging to replace the wiper motor, blower motor, and blower motor resistor myself. Oh and did mention that the cig outlet magialy started working again befoe any wrk was done to it? After replacing the motors, nothing worked. Fuses ar good! Relays are good, an brand new motors - it does't work. I took it back to the dealer - Olathe Dodge Jeep. They told me the wiring is bad! Now I have $400 in new motors in there that I didn't need bcause the wiring was bad all along and needless to say they want another $500 minimum to fix what I told them was the issue to begin with. Lazy misdiagnosing technicians and Olathe Dodge Jeep will cost you a paycheck... Beware and stay away - I know I will!!!

We went to Olathe Dodge looking for a new minivan. We had already looked around and pretty much knew what we wanted. The sales staff worked with us to get the right car at the right price. They were able to get us a van with a few more options, for a better price. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the car. They even were able to get me out in a reasonable amount of time. They worked out a great extended warranty plan aswell.

Ratings_icons Good, honest car repair

I feel comfortable taking my Dodge here for repairs. I don't feel like they are "taking me to the cleaners" like other smaller repair shops are known to do. We lost our keys and had to have them replaced. They have a microchip in them and only the dealership can cut the keys for it. They were honest about the cost and got it done very fast. They were really nice and professional. Their garage is sooo nice...felt bad driving your car into it. Just a bunch of honest, good guys!
