I struggled between 1 & 2 stars and settled on 2 given the fact that I haven't had the opportunity to meet EVERY practitioner here (and I never will). I'm actually very sad to write such a negative review since I went here while pregnant

My precious son had a congenital heart defect and a mass in his lung, both were undetected. I have done much research and i believe many of the symptoms I experienced while pregnant were typical of mother's with babies that have these

Wouldn't recommend this doctor's practice unless you think it is ok to receive abnormal test results by mail and wait 4 weeks for an appointment.

The "original" Dr. Younglove delivered my first 2 children. His daughter, the "next" Dr. Younglove delievered my 3rd and now I am expecting my 4th. I love this practice. They take great care of you and it is really a family affair. The nurses, midwives, partners, child-birth classes and lactation consultation are all top notch! Did I mention, I love this practice?

I've been a patient at the Womens Healthcare Group since I moved to the Kansas City area in 1995. I chose to visit a nurse midwife instead of a doctor simply because it was easier to get in to see the midwives.
I had the pleasure of meeting Kelly Elliot, PHD, CNMW. She was my nurse midwife and delivered 2 of my children. She was there with me all the way through labor and each time made the experience actually pleasant.
Kelly is no longer with the practive because of a medical disability :( I miss her, but am now on my third pregnancy and am seeing Kara Winkler, CNMW. Kara is great as well and I look forward to getting to know her!
Every single staff member that I've met at the Womens Healthcare Group has been kind and professional. Their service is great and I'm lucky I found them on the first try when I moved here!

I have been with this group for the last 12 years ... Dr. Younglove delivered all four of my babies and has been with me through the aftermath of an abnormal PAP smear result. He is without a doubt the most fantastic doctor I have ever been to....

When I first met Dr. Younglove, he reminded me of "Gonzo Gates" from Trapper John, MD. He had wild hair and was real laid back and casual. His office bought out the OB/GYN that had delivered my first child (by CSection), and when I found out I was pregnant with my second child and I met Dr. Younglove, I informed him that I didn't care what he had to do, but I was not having another CSection. He laughed at me.

Well - four more babies and no more CSections.

Dr. Younglove listens to what his patients have to say - balances that with what medically needs to happen - and lets the patients have a say in their care. He has a great bedside manner, and makes things as "fun" as possible.

I have sent many people to this group ... there is a staff of several MD's and a number of midwives too. There is a variety of personalities so there's a fit for just about everyone!
