When our Golden torn his ACL on his knee, the first vet we went to said our only alternative was an extremely expensive surgery. When we found Dr. Daly, he was concerned and caring, but encouraged us to see how our big guy did naturally, with some supplements. Within 6 weeks it was clear he would be fine. Now he is back to his normal self, without any surgery, just patience and love. That is what I call practical veterinary medicine. We would not dream of taking any of our animals to anyone else. I highly recommend them.

After bringing my sick puppy to PVAH, she was diagnosed with ammonia at just a couple weeks old. My vet at PVAH, went above and beyond the call of duty and over the several following months saved my new little girl's life. Without my vet at PVAH, I wouldn't have my puppy today. They are truly wonderful.

in contrast to the review below, when i bought my puppy at land of paws, there was full disclosure that they owned the prairie village animal hospital - it was in the puppy paperwork. i couldn't be happier with my experience at PVAH - my dog is happy to visit, and everyone there has been great to us. it's quite a drive for us, but i can't imagine finding a better vet closer to home.

PVAH has been awesome with our 2 cats. You get a lot of personal attention and they don't nickel and dime you for every nit picking thing. If you are just in briefly to ease your mind about an ailment sometimes they waive the office visit fee. All the doctors here are great and I wouldn't go anywhere else!

A lot of consumers don't know that this veterinary office owns the pet shop, Land of Paws, in the same shopping center. Land of Paws sells puppies, then offers the "nice nearby vet" for an exam. My parents purchased a purebred dog from Land of Paws last year, the vet at PVAH said she was in perfect health, then she turned out to have a wealth of medical difficulties. I would be wary of the conflict of interest generated by owning a vet clinic and a pet store, and the fact that the dual ownership is not generally disclosed to consumers.
