Golf Club Of The Bluegrass

Under new ownership, and with numerous design changes, this is a much improved golf course, but it's a shame the name was changed from Widow's Watch (classy) to GC of the BG (bland as chipped beef on toast.) I'll bet a name change was a requirement of the terms of the sale from the old owners to the new and was probably a last minute decision. Nevertheless, overlook the name and enjoy this course. It's one of the best in the area.

This is a nice golf course on Harrodsburg Road that used to be called Widow's Watch, which I thought was one of the coolest golf course names I'd ever heard. Thus, I find the name change to be slightly disappointing. However, the golf course is very enjoyable to play, and the staff is always friendly and helpful.
