Terrible selling experience!
by Jan D.
I have frequently bought from this store, so when I was getting ready to move, I thought I would bring some boxes of books and magazines to sell. I called ahead and was bluntly told that they do not offer prices on the phone and could give me no estimate. After I lugged my 5 copy paper boxes full of magazines and hardback books, I was offered a total of $2.00 for all!!!!!! This was unreal. They did not act like it was negotiable. Since I had already lugged my things there, I took my $2.00. They saw me struggling to bring the boxes in the store and offered no assistance. I think the took advantage of the fact that they knew that I didn't want to drag them back out. They have good customer service for buyers, but could care less for sellers. I left feeling very ripped off. From now own, I will give all my reading material away on craigslist or sell it at a yard sale.

This is a new book store that just recently opened up on Hustbourne Parkway. There are plenty of parking spaces close to the entrance to the store. The prices are very low, but the selection of books, records, and magazines is not very good. If you are looking for a hard to find book this is not the place to go. If you like to browse and are not picky in what you read this is the place you should go. I would just drive on down the road to Borders Books where there is a great selection of books and magazines. This is a good area of town with a lot of stores and restaurants close by. Traffic can be a problem at times.

They buy and sell a large variety of used books, records, magazines, computer software and some CD'S. From romance, self-help, education, languages, cooking, health, children, car repair manuals, encylopedias, computer repair and software. They don't keep track of what they buy but organized almost like a regular book store. Price are not sold for more than half the retail price of the item.
PROS: Large variety and good prices.

This is a huge store with lots of used books and media. They also do carry some new items. The prices were pretty good for most items. They did have a place for kids to play while the parents looked. Big bonus for me.

We have only been in their once. It was reccomended to us by some our daughter's teachers. WE just had so much fun going thru the bargain shelfs. We walked out of their with 11 books for under $5.00. It was great. These were in good condition and top rated books. The staff was friendly and the store was well-stocked with so many items. Plenty of parking and the store had many customers while we were there.
PROS: Great Service, Great Prices & Books
CONS: maybe a larger store

We have been in this store many times to buy and sell books,cd's and dvd's.
Prices are very competitive and have a very wide selections of anybook that you maybe looking for.
Parking plenty and very helpful associates.
Only drawback is to see them to pay you more for the books, mags, and etc you bring into sell

Books and More

Thank goodness for used books. Hard to find? It may be there. Of course, you do not get much money when you go to sell your books, but you may get good deals on ones you buy. They have a little area to relax in with free coffee and tea. They also had the weekly magazines, around town stuff, which few others will carry. Oh, they also had computer stuff on the cheap. I felt sorry for the staff though who have to stand around a lot waiting for people to buy, because their too busy looking and reading and drinking coffee and talking.
