I would like to take the time and say THANK YOU.
I brought our family Jeep in to get a diagnosis concerning our exhaust system.
I was told by another shop/dealer that my Catalytic Converters was plugged up and needed
replaced. The repairs would have run me well over $1,500.00.
I felt I needed a second opinion.
I brought our Jeep to Downtown Muffler & Brake Owensboro, KY
They ran a vacuum test on both Catalytic Converters and did not find any plugage.
They did find a vacuum leak and repaired it.
They also said that I needed a tune up and suggested a garage to take it to.
They took our Jeep to the other garage for us, saved us a trip to town.
They only charged a total of $30.00 and saved me over $1,400.00.
Downtown Muffler & Brake could have taken advantage of us and made a lot of money on work that was not done or did not need done.
Thank you for being honest, the good work, saving us money and for taking our Jeep to the other garage for the tune up.
We will be using Downtown Muffler & Brake shop when needed and we have been letting our friends know about our experience.

They do a good job replaceing brakes. Cost is about average for around here. Only charge about 50.00 for labor. Very honest workers who will not try to tell you there is other things wrong with your car.

Have good atmosphere to wait for your car to be fixed. Easy to find on 2nd st. Would recommend anyone who needs brake work to check them out. Very efficent and can get the job done in about 1 to 1.5 hours. They will offer to take you to work too!
