Brownsboro Hardware & Paint

I was introduced to this neighborhood gem about ten months ago by a dear friend who wanted to help me pick out a grill for my husband. This store is wonderful! Unlike the big hardware stores, staff goes out of its way to help you find things. They have a little bit of everything -- and the products are top quality. I find that if I need a light bulb or garden gloves, it is much faster to stop in here -- I may spend a few cents more, but I am in and out in no time. (And time is money, right?) The neatest thing I found here was a stainless steel spray cleaner that left my stainless steel appliances looking better than new. Check it out -- you won't be disappointed.

This hardware store is a small neighborhood store. They have an educated staff that is friendly and helpful. They don't have the selection or overhead that the large home improvement stores have, but if you need a basic item, they will bend over backwards to help you with your project. They also have a full service post office located inside the store.

PROS: Friendly, educated staff. Post office inside.
CONS: Small selection, slightly higher prices on some things.
