E'Town Swim & Fitness Ctr

I recently joined and have enjoyed it so far! There are so many classes and tons of stuff to do little play tennis and basketball! I love the fact they are open 24 hrs Mon - sat so I can workout anytime, and with my busy schedule that really works for me. I think want is most impressive is that with all the members they have they take time to say hello every time.

This is a horrible business. Think very hard about joining, because if you EVER want out of your contract they will never, under ANY circumstances let you out. Even if you 'move' according to the contract. they really do screw you over..If you fail to pay them, they will continue to bill you every month AFTER your contract is up. I talked to the "manager" Debbie and let her know of extenuating circumstances to ask out of my contract, including my husband and I both losing our jobs and a death in the family and she had no compassion at all. And, the other stuff is true also-classes are canceled without warning.

Unfortunately this gym does not go by the stated requirements that are on their membership form or cancellation form: to cancel your membership due to moving more than 25 miles away from the facility, you must give 30 days notice before your requested cancel date with proof of upcoming move. They have obviously gotten by with charging an extra month here and there with other military members due to a "report date" on military orders. If you give 30 days notice that you are moving, be sure you get it in writing that your membership will be cancelled 30 days after giving notice to them, as it states it should be in their documents. If you are in the military, they will try to cancel your membership on the date of your stated report date on orders. This obviously typically gives them another month, maybe 2, of charging you without you even being there! Not fair, and not right. They stated to me that this is what they have always done...and that is supposed to make it right?

E'town Swim is a great place for the whole family to enjoy. I love how I can get my work out in, and my children can play basketball, racquetball, volleyball and take the kids classes! I recommend E'town Swim to anyone looking for a top notch gym in the Elizabethtown area!

This is a great gym for the whole family. They offer all kinds of workouts here, help you reach your personal weight goal, and offer plenty of moral support. They have a beautiful indoor pool which is perfect for the colder months. Prices run a little high in comparison to other gyms, but you get so much more here that it is definately worth it.

PROS: Variety of services
CONS: A little expensive
