I would never suggest this business to anyone. There aren't enough words to accurately describe my frustration and disappointment with Franks Flooring. I'm actually shocked at the lack of respective with which I was treated.

The Franks family is/were friends of my father and had done a decent amount of work with my family's business. This is why I went to them. I had a rather hard time getting a call back to actually schedule the work on my kitchen floor. It took several voicemails and finally a personal visit from my father to the store to get installation scheduled.

I had done the demo and removal of the previous floor, so that the Frank's team could come in and very easily install the new floor. The event of the installation was typical - they didn't leave an excessive mess or anything, but immediately after they left it was apparent that something was wrong with the floor. It would crackle and pop as if there were many many air bubbles under the floor everytime you walked on it - in all areas. The noise was very noticeable. Not knowing much about floors - I waited a week to report it thinking it might go away. It did not and I called Franks' about it.

It has been 6 months since I first reported the problem and it still has not been fixed, although I'm continually promised that something will be done. This has been 6 months of unreturned phone calls, emails and no-shows on scheduled appointments. I understand if something comes up and someone has to reschedule, but I don't even get a phone call before or after not showing up from any of the Frank's reps. I realize my small kitchen is not a huge priority, but Frank's continual lack of communication and no-shows is disrespectful and insulting.

My only consolation is that I have withheld payment until it has been fixed. Unfortunately, I think I got a crappy free floor.

Keep your eye on the workers.they are nice but will steal things as small as a snickers bar.and then when apologizing,complain about being ratted out.Also 1.5 months after my installation,I have cut my foot a third time on exposed nails.This after the onsite mgr.promised to return to fix it.No call no show no answer.they broke a curtain rod in my foyer,ignored it.My Bose stearo system was mishandled and rewired badly when i turned it on.a fuse blew.After rearranging my schedule several times the job is complete but incomplete.This is the reason why I trust noone.you can't be nice and leave people to work.Not satisfied at all.

We were looking to replace the flooring in our kitchen and went to Earl Franks. The salespeople were very helpful in finding us something that we liked AND fit within our budget. Once we decided the flooring was put down in a timely manner and did a good job.

If you are in the greater cincinnati area and need new carpet i would consider giving them a call. They were the best priced that we could find (approx. 5 bids) for our 2 story mid-sized building. They came in during non-working hours for the most part, and got the job done. The carpet looks wonderful and we have had no problems as of yet after a year.
