Mr Transmission

I wish I had read these reviews before I took my car to Mr. Transmission. Not only they were not able to fix my car, but also they charged me a lot of money. They use their warranty only to lure costumers. They won't admit it to you, but they won't work on a warranty job unless your car is really messed up.

Before you take your car to this location OR the location in Clarksville, Indiana, please make sure you already know what's wrong with your car. If not, you're in for a big surprise!! I spent a couple of thousand dollar for repairs and my car is still experiencing the same problems.

They claimed I needed my transmission rebuilt, and I later found out my problem was my 02 Sensor. The sensor made my car jerk as if it was my transmission.

I would NEVER refer anyone to Mr. Transmission. The manager and asst Manager are LIARS, and are out to make a quick buck at the customer's expense. From My own personal experience, I will never go back and I'm considering a huge lawsuit. This place is HORRIBLE!!!!!!

If i would have read the online reviews maybe I wouldn't be writing my own review. My experience with Mr. Transmission has been a horrible one. The staff is rude, argumentative, deceptive and unethical! I wasted almost 1900.00 dealing with this repair shop and my car still isn't fixed. They make promises they can't fulfill and they will keep you running back and forth to their repair shop. The owner is unethical, rude, deceptive, and practices false advertisement. THIS PLACE IS A COMPLETE JOKE! Both locations in louisville and clarksville, Indiana.

Pitiful place! Just plain pitiful!!! Please beware of their scams, scare tactics and false advertisement. They will keep you running back and forth to their shop for repairs, and will not properly fix your transmission. Their service is horrible!!! Stay away! The Clarksville, Indiana location is horrible too.

I learned a cruel lesson dealing with Mr. Transmission. The place was " recommended " by another mechanic that done some engine work on my truck. He was asked to check what seemed like a brake dragging. He said that the brakes were fine and that it was a transmission problem and referred me to Mr. Transmission. Once at Mr. T, the transmission was fine but I had a brake problem. I was told the rear shocks were rusted through and that the front brake lines had to be replaced. After several days and calls telling me that now the front calipers had to be replaced as well as the pads. The next day it was the master cylinder. By now I knew I was being taken and told them to stop. They said the problem was solved. Taking the truck home I noticed that the pedal was soft and progressively went closer the the floor. I told them to save all the parts they removed and discovered that the shocks they told me were rusted did not come off my truck. I now have my truck at another shop trying to solve the same issue. BEWARE !!!!!!

Just heard about Mr. Transmission. What I suggest each of you to do is file a complaint with the BBB and your Attorney General's Office. Make sure you voice your complaint so that an investigation can be started. Also...Look into filing a lawsuit in small claims court. Mr. Transmission will try to bully you around and keep you going back and forth to their shop for repairs, but do not fall for it.

Have sense enough to say NO!!!! Have sense enough to file complaints, send complaint letters to their owner, head office (although privately owned), and send your complaints to the BBB. Make sure you do not compromise nor send your truck back for repairs. They will also tell lies about their service and will threaten you by saying that your warranty will be voided if you don't allow them to fix it. And...most of all, keep writing these reviews so that others can see how Mr. Transmission's service is.

I too am a victim of Mr. Transmission's unethical business practices. I took my car in for repairs and as of this date, my car runs a if it's about to break down. I can not drive it out of town in fear of it breaking down on the highway. The service manager is a scam artist who gives you an estimate, and charges the exact amout of the estimate he gives. I've made several trips to their location to complain, and each time, they came up with a new problem with my car. I am in the process of filing a lawsuit. Mr. Transmission is a company to avoid!!! If you don't believe me, take your car there for transmission work and you will soon find out the hard way!

I wish I would have read the reviews first. I was also a victim of Mr. Transmission's "shady" transmission work. Paid big bucks to get my transmission fixed and a week later, the same problems exist. It has been in their shop four times. Their managers are the worst. They get mad when you complain about their shady work and they will come up with new problems with your car. All I can say is that I plan to join in a lawsuit to sue them for their dishonest work!

OMG! I had the WORST experience ever with this business. I paid 2000.00 for repairs to my transmission, but it's still messed up. I have not been able to drive my car at all. It has been int heir shop 6 times. I refuse to take it back. I do have an attorney.

Liars!!!! This comapny is nothing more than a rip=off to customers. They charge outrageous prices, but your car/truck is NEVER fixed!!!!! then, they will charge other fees to cover up their own mistakes. please read the reviews and stay away!

Buyer Beware - not all Mr. Transmission shops are the same! The Baxter location has an A+ from the BBB. The Hunsinger Lane location has a B-. I wish I would have done my homework before taking my car in for repair at the latter and buying a 3 year warranty for $350. Less than 2 years later, 2 parts went bad and the shop won't stand behind it because they say it's an electrical issue. Without knowing that I had done business with the Hunsinger shop, the folks at the Baxter location discussed the issue with me and felt strongly that the parts should be covered. Also, they were just generally friendly. I truly wish I would have taken my car to the Baxter location in the first place.

Nothing overcharged no 80 day wait. Quick reliable service is what you will get from Mr Transmisioon. The shop is nice and prices are very reasonable. They have a nice waiting room so you can wait while your car gets fixed.
